Overview of Professional Staff and Training

We have an Executive Director who is a Licensed Assisted Living Director. A Director of Nursing, who is an RN, an additional full-time LPN and an additional RN 3 days per week. The Resident Assistants are trained according to the WI Dept of Health regulations as well as ongoing trainings.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We have our entrance doors locked 24/7 and we have a receptionist 7 days per week, 9am-5pm. In Independent Living and Assisted Living, the residents are in control of their own risk. They have the freedom to come and go as they please. In Memory Care, that area is secured 24/7 and we manage all the risk for those residents. As far as well-being, Assisted Living and Memory Care folks have a service agreement that has the services we provide for each person. We have a very busy and vibrant community, there is always "life" and high energy with residents who are engaged and active in the programming.

Transition Support Services

We have a resident ambassador group, when a new person moves in, someone will welcome them, invite them to a meal and generally get them oriented and introduced to the other residents for the first week or so. We also have each department head meet with each new resident within the first week of moving in. On the nursing side, many people choose to have additional services in place for the first few weeks until they get settled.

Transportation Services

We have a shuttle; this is for scheduled outings only. Grocery store trips, lunch outings and other outings like museum, apple orchard etc. It does not work like a taxi service.

Dining Experience

Residents are served in the dining room like a regular restaurant. We take their order, and they have a server. There is always a special for the meal AND an "always available" list that folks can choose from We serve 3 hot meals per day. The dining director meets with the resident face-to-face each month to get feedback about the menu.

Resident Complaint Process

There is a complaint form for residents to fill out or they can report the issue verbally. It is addressed by the Executive Director or the Director of Nursing.

Communication with Residents' Families

We have open door policy, care conferences available by request and monthly newsletter.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Yes, we do. The price would be dependent on an assessment that one of our nurses would conduct.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are.

Waitlist Information

This depends on which apartment kind of you'd like, some of the styles do have a waitlist.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

We did have a covid and flu clinic in our community this year.

Aging in Place

Yes, we have memory care and enhanced care available when the need arises.
