As the sun rises over Old Town, our extraordinary caregivers offer individually tailored assisted living and memory care services.

For older adults who cherish their autonomy yet need some help with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, transportation and medication reminders, assisted living provides the perfect solution. Seniors can enjoy the comfort of their own suite or cohabitate with a companion, while avoiding mundane tasks like laundry, cooking and cleaning. In addition to providing exceptional assisted living care, the Sunrise team crafts a custom-tailored Individualized Service Plan (ISP) for each resident's unique needs.

At Sunrise Senior Living, we tailor our memory care services to each individual's unique needs. Dementia gradually undermines one's capacity to effectively cope with the demands of daily life. At our memory care facility, we strive to provide a secure and enriching atmosphere for those affected by dementia--particularly its most common form: Alzheimer's.

At Senior Nutrition Solutions, we specialize in crafting delectable home-cooked meals from the ground up to provide seniors with balanced nutrition tailored specifically for their needs. They also source locally-sourced produce when available, ensuring freshness in every bite! Furthermore, they take time out of their busy schedules to converse with those who call this community home - allowing them insight into what menu items should be featured.

Employees in the Alexandria, VA area have not had a positive experience working for Sunrise Senior Living. They report high turnover rates and being overworked due to staffing issues. Additionally, they have witnessed disrespectful staff members who do not treat the residents with the dignity they deserve. Employees have also reported that the management is terrible and the care givers are evil to the residents. Some of the staff do not have a heart and the residents are treated badly. The staff also speaks to employees in a condescending manner. Overall, employees do not recommend working for Sunrise Senior Living in the Alexandria, VA area.
