Review Summary
The following is an AI generated summary of the reviews of the community from across the web.
Summit has received mixed reviews from residents and their families. Some have praised the facility for its excellent care, clean rooms, delicious food, and the caring nature of the staff. Many have highlighted the dedication and professionalism of the day staff, including nurses, CNAs, rehab personnel, and the hospice team, noting their ability to make tough situations bearable and their commitment to treating residents like family.
However, there have been concerns raised about the night staff's behavior, including reports of them demanding residents do things against PT advice and refusing help. One review mentioned a significant issue with the care provided, leading to a resident's health deteriorating due to a lack of proper attention and subsequent hospitalization.
Despite these concerns, many reviews celebrate the Summit for its wonderful environment, positive vibes, and the great care provided by the staff. The facility is described as beautiful, with a great location and a team that is committed to patient and community excellence. Staff members, including those in therapy and management, express pride in their work and the positive work environment.
Overall, while there are areas for improvement, particularly concerning the night staff's conduct and responsiveness to residents' needs, the Summit is generally regarded as a caring and supportive facility for rehabilitation and skilled nursing care.
