Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
The communities have personal Care Aides, Certified Medication Technicians, and LPNs. Most come to us already trained for their particular specialty. Inservice training is provided as needed. Any certifications would be part of Human Resources office.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
Measures are provided based on specific needs. Such as a Secured Dementia Care Unit has locked doors to keep wanderers safe. There is staff through the communities 24/7. Fire protocol, medications, etc, all have their own sets of standards that are followed as per state regulations.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We ask about the person coming in, likes, dislikes, family, needs, etc., and that is shared with staff to help get to know the new person.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes we do, based on availability.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
3 meals are served table side and the goal is to change up and provide different nutritional meals.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
The Resident is advised of their Resident Rights which gives them the outline for that procedure.
What is the cost of living in your community?
Variable based on your choice, shared, single, large, small. The rates range from 4200 to 5200 depending on your care level and size of apartment desired.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Communication primarily involves nursing but can be any administrative person who wants to communicate. Or it can take place in Care meetings requested by either staff or family.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do have respite and depending on care level it ranges from $179 daily up to $199 daily.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes
Are residents able to age in place?
Definitely. We also have a skilled nursing facility in another building on the campus. Only for specific apartments
