We have a Medical Director that oversees all of our patients (Dr. Newcomb). We have RN’s, LPN’s, QMA’s, CAN’S, Social Workers that are all licensed, and do monthly trainings.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We consider every resident as a part of our extended family and their health, safety, and well-being are the highest priority here at Solarbron. Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We appreciate that transitioning a loved one to a new living arrangement can be a complex and strenuous process for any family. This, any additional resources that could help in making that transition smoother and less challenging would be of immense value. These resources in the form of social workers, support groups, or even educational material that would educate and equip both patients and their families with necessary knowledge and skills need to adapt to the new environment.

Yes, we have transportation that will take our residents to/from appointments. They also transport to special fun events.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
In the event a resident has an issue to address or complaint, we have a systematic approach in place to ensure fairness and effectiveness. The resident is recommended to file a formal complaint or clearly state the issue to the grievance officer (Candice Middleton SW). The Grievance coordinator will proceed to share the concern with the clinical team. This collective team strives to review the issue in detail, understand the concerns from a broad perspective, and identify an appropriate solution that respects and upholds resident rights and interests.
