Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We do not currently have a waitlist.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We provide monthly trainings, and we have nurses and cna’s in the community 24/7. We also have housekeeping, maintenance, activities, and dietary. We also have nurse practitioners that round at our community on a routine basis.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We do daily checks on all residents, and the nursing staff will assess/address any situation as it arises.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We do offer support services, and try to make the transition seamless for the resident.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We have our own shuttle to transport residents but some of our residents also utilize citylink since there is a stop right outside our community.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our dining experience is set up similar to restaurant style, we have the main dish that is served but if someone does not like that there is an extensive list of alternatives.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
If the resident has a complaint or an issue they can tell anyone and that is then passed on through their direct supervisor. The management team meets every morning to discuss and the executive director then handles the situation.
What is the cost of living in your community?
Cost depends on what the resident has but with Medicaid if they are wanting a studio apartment plus the three meals/two snacks a day, and nursing services, the cost would be $943. If they have Medicaid and are wanting a 1 bedroom apartment plus the three meals/two snacks a day, and nursing services, the cost would be $1250.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Family should be communicated with on any changes with the resident.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer respite stays.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We are a pet-friendly community, and have many residents with pets.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
I do believe our residents get vaccinated in our community.
Are residents able to age in place?
Unfortunately, we do not offer memory care, and if down the line someone needs more care then we would have a meeting to discuss options. We try to keep our residents with us as long as we can, as change can be difficult. We do not currently have a waitlist.
