Overview of Professional Staff and Training
In our assisted living program, we employ Certified Residential Medication Aides (CRMAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medication Technicians (Med Techs), all of whom have the necessary certification/licensing and undergo continuing education relevant to their roles. Additionally, we provide annual community-wide education for our direct care professionals on critical topics such as infection control and resident rights.
Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we utilize an electronic medical system to track all care provided. Our residents also benefit from a pendant system for immediate personal care assistance and a triangulation system to locate residents outside their private apartments.
Transitioning into the Community
We support new residents with a thorough onboarding process and have a resident welcoming committee to aid in their transition into the community.
Transportation Services
Our residents are entitled to two transports to medical appointments in the greater Portland area per month. Additionally, our activities department organizes shopping trips and off-campus excursions on our wheelchair-accessible bus.
Dining Experience
Our dining experience is restaurant-style, featuring servers, table service, and a seasonal menu that changes four times a year. We offer open seating in our two dining rooms.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
We have a formal grievance process outlined upon lease signing. However, in practice, residents can bring concerns to any manager for direct resolution. A member of our senior management team is available 7 days a week.
Communication with Residents' Families
We maintain a resident family email list for memos and updates as needed and hold quarterly family meetings, alternating between in-person and virtual formats.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Respite stays in our assisted living program are available at a rate of $291/day + 6% state tax, with a minimum stay requirement of two weeks.

Vaccination Clinics
We offer periodic vaccination clinics on campus for COVID and flu vaccinations, for the convenience of our residents and staff.
Aging in Place
Residents are able to age in place within our community. Independent apartments are located in all three buildings on our campus, while assisted living apartments are centralized in our main State Street Building. We maintain a waitlist for some apartment types and are happy to discuss your interest in 75 State Street.
