Overview of Staff and Training
Friendship Towers operates on a social model, catering to residents who may have medical issues but can manage mostly by themselves. Our staff includes professionals trained to assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, meals, ambulation, and toileting. We also provide assistance with self-administration of medications, home health, and outpatient therapy services. All staff receive yearly education and training in accordance with state regulations.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents through a 24-hour emergency response system and the use of cameras in the hallways and exterior of the building.
Transition Support Services
We offer resources to aid residents' transition into the community, including a personal meeting upon move-in, a resident handbook, and a monthly resident orientation for any questions. Our community is welcoming and supportive of new residents.
Transportation Services
Transportation for activities, local medical appointments, and local shopping is included in the rent.
Dining Experience
Our dining service is restaurant-style, available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., featuring daily specials for lunch and dinner, as well as an always available menu.
Resident Grievance Process
Residents can address complaints or issues through our Grievance officer, either in person or by filling out a grievance form.

Communication with Families
We communicate with families about facility events and updates on their loved ones' well-being via mail or email. Communication regarding residents with a Power of Attorney or designated representative will go through them.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term or respite stays at a cost of $200.00 per day.

We are a pet-friendly community, allowing 1 dog or 1 cat up to 15 pounds.
Waitlist Information
There is currently no waitlist for our Heritage apartments, but there is for the Expansion apartments. Please refer to the attached for differences between the two.
Vaccination Clinics
We offer yearly clinics for Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.
Aging in Place
Residents can age in place at Friendship Towers, with services ranging from independent to assisted living. A skilled nursing facility is also available next door if needed.
