Overview of Living Options and Services
We do have a waitlist for our independent and some of our assisted living floor plans. I can share some pricing information with you but need to narrow down which style of living you are interested in: IL (Independent Living), AL (Assisted Living), or MC (Memory Care) and then the floor plan – this is much more easily done over the phone.
Healthcare and Safety
We have 3 full-time nurses, medical technicians, C.N.A.’s, and Resident Assistants, each with training and certifications. We have many measures in place to ensure the safety of our residents. For example, in Independent Living, we have a daily check-in with our residents. In Assisted Living, each resident has a Care plan and a pendant or bracelet that they can call for assistance at any time, day or night. In Memory Care, we have a secure campus for our residents and an outstanding care team, which includes one of our nurses who has her office inside the campus so she is aware of everything and everyone.
Community and Support
We have a group of Residents who volunteer as Ambassadors to make our new Residents feel welcomed and at home. We offer transportation within a 12-mile radius of Sagewood as long as it is scheduled in advance. Our chef and his team provide a wide variety of menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with daily specials and made from scratch cuisine.
Communication and Family Involvement
Our residents or their families can reach out to our Executive Director, our Assistant Executive Director, anyone on the management team, or we have the Ombudsman information posted as well. We are always happy to communicate with our Resident’s family who are listed as their Emergency contacts or those we have express permission to call when there is a concern. We welcome their communication to us as well.
Pet Policy and Aging in Place
We are pet friendly but do have some stipulations regarding pets. Our residents can age in place from Independent to Assisted or Memory Care as needed.
Health Measures
Our residents and associates do have the opportunity to get flu vaccinations or CoVid vaccinations. We do have a waitlist for our independent and some of our assisted living floor plans.
