Pleased with so many areas of this facility. My husband had a stroke. He first went to a "Brand New Place" close by. And I quickly learn just because it is Brand New doesn't make it the best. 2 Weeks after moving him over to RH&R he was trying to talk - since then he is talking. The Therapy Staff is GREAT. They treat him like a Friend with the respect of a Father - They want to see him get better. They working with him almost every day. I see them laughing with him, getting to know him, and the same for me. Dana your Team is GREAT - Jennifer, Rubin, Meghan THANK YOU and the same to the others. Nursing Staff and CNA's - This is a hard job - I do not think I could walk in their shoes for a minute. Thank you for the care you give him. It's hard to be living in a facility, that is just the truth. This staff does a great job taking care of his needs. It's not going to be perfect but they try to make it perfect. If I have an issue or concern - they are there to help me right away. THANK YOU!Front office staff - wow - you are so important to me and I am so thankful for you. I see and talk to you girls and guys the most. With COVID - just getting to come in to see him was a huge thing. They meet you at the door, follow the protocols of the CDC and the facility. They talk to me about what all is going on and ask me about me. When I have questions, I can call and get a quick answer. If I do happen to have a problem or concern - they find an answer quickly and the Nursing Director, Therapy Director, or Administrator is there to help me. THANK YOU. So many more I wish I could name them all. I see improvements in the building, staff, and procedures weekly. Thank you, Brenda Hobbs - Darrell Hobbs
Very disappointed trying to look for a rehab facility for my father I've been calling this phone number since this morning no answer not even a answering machine to leave a message. Just called again twice and was hung up on I will be moving on to the next location very saddened by this. But maybe it was a warning for me not to place my loved one here take care thank you.
This facility is one of the best that I have ever encountered. Being that I am the visitation coordinator I get to spend a lot of time with both families and residents and I genuinely enjoy every second of it. Our staff whole-heartedly cares about the residents and it truly shows. I am very thankful to have the opportunity to learn from all of these wonderful caregivers. If you need a facility for your loved one I would definitely recommend Rowlett Health & Rehab!
I have been an ADON in this bldg for 2 1/2 years, I have seen and worked with many nurses and CNA's over the years, we have multiple people here that I am proud and honored to work with. We have some very caring staff who daily give 100% to take care of these residents. I had my own mother here for rehab, the rehab and nursing team took great care of her and she was able to transition home without any issues.
Always been Staff friendly facility to work in, training and teaching staff to improve on skills to improve resident`s quality of life. Clientele comprising family and family members appreciative of staff. we appreciate all staff for everyday hard work and making sure all our residents are taken care of at best level. Excellent customer service.
My Mother in Law stayed here for rehab after surgery from fracturing her hip. She has dementia which makes her care a little more complex. Every single day her needs/ wants were met to the fullest! We never worried at all that she would be taken care of! She was up and moving around each day to keep her mobile, she was well groomed and always had fresh clothing and bed linens. Her nursing care was always 100% and her surgery site was always well dressed and any issues or concerns were always addressed and taken care of immediately. Her transition home was made extremely easy as home health was set up by the Amazing ADON, Mona. (Among LOTS of other things made easy and taken care of by her) Her therapy team was amazing and she is walking almost completely on her own at home now without any assistance! I highly recommend Rowlett Health and Rehab for anyone needing short term care and would FULLY trust them with anyone in my family even needing long term care! Her nursing team was Christopher, Debra, Sabrina, Michelle. Wound Care- Candy DON-Lydia ADON-Mona. Nurse Aids were Joycelyn, Rosalyn and Judith. All amazing people whom truly care about their patients!
My husband was in this facility for rehab but they did not have the equipment or personnel for rehab. Night & weekend nurses and staff are horrible - weekday is better. Food is served cold and tasteless. I could go on and on with everything that went wrong, but don't have space. I could not get him out of there to another rehab fast enough. PLEASE, PLEASE do not send your loved ones to this facility if you care for them at all.
On behalf of Don Zablosfky:I have watched these nurses and aides take care of their residents. With my wife, when she was having a difficult time, one would stay with her and work with her, then another one would come and take over until they finally got her calmed down. They worked together. It seemed like she was special to them. Sometimes I needed respite, and I felt like she was in good hands. Every time I walked in, people knew who I was and who I was going to see. I thought she got excellent care. I was quite pleased with this complex.
I am an Occupational Therapist. I asked one of my Team Leaders(aware of my situation); where would you place a loved one (in area) who is a flight risk? They suggested: Rowlett Health & Rehab; so we went to visit. I Am Very Pleased with Rowlett Health & Rehab: The Nursing Care, Nsg Communication with family and The Safety my loved one is provided.
