My mom recently died due to the neglect of this place. She was only there 2 months while we were preparing to move her closer to us. After she died the Social worker Latoya tried to lie and embarrass me by saying I told my mom that I would not buy her things she needed. She never checked to see all the belongings I sent her, she said this to me less than a month of my moms passing and my family and I are still grieving she did not correct herself or apologize even after she saw all the belongings I had bought my mom. The nurse's did not observe the adverse affects that her meds were causing her they just kept giving her the meds, we requested them to call the doctor about the meds because she could not even stay awake long enough to talk to me on the phone past 5 mins, no one ever followed up with us about the doctor and her meds. They allowed her to sleep in the chair and she stated the only way she kept clean was to was herself up at the sink and to wash her dresses in the sink because laundry would not bring her dresses back for weeks and weeks. When she died they did not even call to offer condolences and they discharged her at the same time that they sent her out with the EMS without telling her family. This Nursing home is trash and they have not hear the last of me. My mom had no medical problems, she just had onset of Dementia but she could walk slowly and she could feed herself and carry on a conversation and talk to me about things that happened years ago but she need help with personal care and med management. These people will not talk to you they make you talk to Latoya the social worker about everything even Nursing issues, even business office issues. They should be closed down. My mom would be alive today if it was not for this heartless place.
