If I could have left a negative star I would have. My friend has been in this horrible place for a year and it only gets worse. The food is horrible - constantly served cold, portions wouldn't feed a toddler and quality is substandard. My friend entered being able to walk and now she is bed ridden because they can't be bothered helping her to get out of bed. She hasn't had a shower in months and has to beg for a wash cloth and basin of water to wipe herself off because no one will even give her a sponge bath. When she needs a bed pan she usually has to wait hours for one. There was an instance when one of the aids told her to just make her bowel movement - yes, in her bed - and they would clean it up later because they didn't have enough bedpans. I could go on and on with specific problems, dates, times, etc. but don't have that kind of time. NYS Dept. of Health doesn't do anything about it - they've been notified and just don't care. It's terrible that loved ones have to be treated that way.
