Five Stars for the Rehab Department:I have only very good things to say about my experience with the Regency Rehab Department. I found that the physical and occupational therapists there were very good teachers. I was particularly impressed with Romesh Joseph. He is an excellent physical therapist. He knows what he's doing and he is an excellent teacher. Romesh is gentle, intelligent and kind. I had a very good experience with the Regency Rehab Department and I learned a lot. I thank all of you very much for your very pleasant and professional teaching.
As a treating healthcare provider at another institution treating their patients, having accurate information is vital to treating patients best. When your RNs and supervising staff refuse or are unable to pick up the phone repeatedly or hang it up deliberately rather than answer, you are denying good care to your own patients. I just spent 1/2 hour repeatedly asking to speak to someone with not one person answering save for the last person who picked up the phone then returned it to its cradle to hang it up. What type of staff are you employing?
Horrible!!! Horrible rude staff. They put my dying dementia riddled father on an ambulance to Lawrence Hospital and he ended up in a hallway in ST Joseph for ten hours before we could recover him. The department dealing with the finances told us we should bring in his Trust so that they could white out names and put their names on as beneficiaries. WTF!!! I witnessed uncaring mocking staff on their phones on the second floor ignoring soiled patients begging for help. I was yelled at by the dialysis head nurse for offering them an aide to assist with my dad. Horrible out of control freakshows parading as staff over there. Arrogant prick of a doctor named Sayegh kept bouncing my dad out of the facility for the least littlest thing his incompetent ass couldn't handle. They put my dad who had a broken hip on in a sitting position to get dialysis instead of having him lie on a bed. Pray for death before you end up here.
My dad has been in regency for about a year and just finally came home. I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff there for taking such great care of him during his stay. I was really nervous sending him to a nursing home now during these times, but the second he got admitted I saw how nice and nurturing everyone was. I can’t thank them all enough.
My brother was admitted in Regency after a serious surgery. He needed wound care and medical help. Mostly he needed a temporary place until assistance living was accepted. The care he received was amazing. With the help of his social worker Angela his head nurse Adele his Doctor Psychiatrist and Evita. They made this transition easy for my brother. I truly appreciate all their help and care they provided. My brother is doing better now and he is also thankful. We truly need places like Regency and caring staff. Thank you everyone.
If I could’ve given it 0 stars, I would’ve. This place has to be the worst place in Westchester County. From the unprofessionalism of the staff, to the food, or even the smell of the place because you can’t tell which one is worse. Staff leave the patients with dirty diapers for hours and the only way you get any response is to threaten them with lawyers. If you have a loved one, please do NOT leave them here. They will have a horrible experience.
Thank you for all you do, to the staff. I known that all faculty and staff do their best in providing adequate care, and morally their heart is into caring for all residents. I hope and pray, for all who work in these facilities, they to remember this could be one of their own family members or themselves. And always do unto others as you'd want done to you. God Bless! And thank you for all you do!
The worst place ever! You go in one way, and come out worse! The food and treatment leave you on medication, which just makes them more money. If you love someone, DO NOT take them to this place. Even if you hate someone, don't take them here.If you have someone here already, make sure you take them out before the 3rd of the month, or you WILL be charged additional money. This place should be shut down! For them to even have "Care" in the name, is false advertising.Don't even believe any of the good reviews. They're by the owners, and employees, so that they can keep their jobs.
