First this is a small to medium sized facility. we placed my aunt here due to her inability to walk. To say she is a combative patient is an understatement. The staff dealt with her well she actually had very few episodes while at the facility. The food is good not perfect but good. the staff was responsive to her needs and when we had issues they addressed them. My aunt is older and is not used to male nurses so she had to get used to men handling her body. she did not like one person in particular and he was immediately reassigned. The physical therapy staff was top notch. As was the nursing staff. they were kind, tolerant, and tried to be understanding. business manager and front desk staff were good as well. If my Aunts phone was off the hook they went and checked on it for me. If my aunts situation should call for long term care I have no problem putting her in this facility under the current staff. The only issue I see is like everyone else they are a little short staff. this is a problem speaking as a manager because it leads to burnout which leads to other issues particularly with moral. but overall a really good and clean facility.
My grandfather Is having a great experience at Regency Care so far, the staff is mostly kind, he enjoys the meals & the therapy department is really good! Grandpa has a long recovery ahead but he has already started feeling better because of the good care he is receiving at RCSS. Only bad thing Is we wish we could visit him but unfortunately we can't due to the covid restrictions in the building .This Is a very difficult time for the family because we Really miss him but Regency Care does a great job making sure we are able to talk to communicate to grandpa often! usally by phone.Thank you to RCSS & all the great staff.
Such a sad Health care for our love ones to be admitted to. My family and I had the worst experiences there. Medications are never giving on time nor in the appropriate manner, every nurses seems as if they were still in nursing school, I dont know where they received their RPN, LPN, CMA, & CNA from, some things needs to be look into. One of the nurse who was my family day nurse give my son 7 different pills of the wrong medication, ( wrong meds), she was supposed to give hin 2. We automatically knew they were not the same meds he took everyday for his Neurological problems that he was there for, can you just imagine if these wrong medications were giving mistakenly to an elderly patient who cannot see or hear well?. This is so unprofessional and carelessness of such nurse, the worst part was, she had the nerves to get upset and hit me with the ugliest attitude and then lied to the Nurse Director that she didn't do such thing, and minutes later come back in the patients room and cried and beg us to please forgive her and admitted her mistake, we all make mistakes, but for her to lie and catch an stinky attitude, no! Its not right.
