Some staff are CNA certified and others are not. All staff receive state approved training and 16 hands-on hours of training. They also continue to receive training throughout the year.
Transition Period Monitoring
In the first few weeks of the transition, staff, along with myself and the nurse, keep an extra close eye to look out for any changes in mood, behavior, demeanor, etc. These transitions can be hard, so we want to ensure we catch it early if they begin to have a hard time.
