Overview of Staff and Training
In our assisted living facility, we have a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) on staff from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, as well as 2-3 caregivers present at all times. During evenings and weekends, if a nurse is needed, we pull a nurse from the rehabilitation/long-term care side of the community.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Residents are checked on before each meal or activity to inform them about what is going on. Additionally, they have access to a call light in the bedroom and bathroom for immediate assistance.
Transition Support Services
While we do not have a dedicated team to assist with transitions, our staff and community residents are always ready to engage and support new residents.
Transportation Services
We provide transportation services with our community bus for doctor's appointments within a 10-mile radius of the community.
Dining Experience
Our main dining room is centrally located for assisted living residents, where they are served at their tables without the need to queue. Room service is also available for those who prefer to dine in their rooms.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Nursing-related complaints should be directed to our Assisted Living director. For housekeeping or maintenance issues, residents can inform the front desk.
Communication with Residents' Families
In the event of a major community issue, we send out emails to families. If there is a change in a resident's condition, a staff member will make a direct phone call.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays with a minimum of 30 days, at a rate calculated by dividing the room rate by 30.
Pet Policy
We are a pet-friendly community for cats, provided that the resident can care for their pet entirely on their own.
Vaccination Clinics
We conduct clinics for both Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.
Aging in Place
Our community is equipped to support aging in place, offering services ranging from independent living in our neighboring community to assisted living, enhanced assisted living, short-term rehab, long-term care nursing, and nursing memory care in our building. Currently, we do not have a waitlist for any part of our community.
