Communication and Independence
Because our residents are active and independent, we communicate directly with our residents only unless there is an emergency or safety concern at hand. Our residents sign a 12 month lease term and because we are not an Assisted Living type of community, our obligation is not to discuss private matters with anyone other than our resident unless the need absolutely presents itself. Being active and independent means that our resident is in charge of his/her health and well being. We do not have clinical assistance of any kind in our community. For example, if a resident falls, we immediately call 911 as we are not equipped to handle their care.
Transportation Services
We do offer transportation services on Thursdays. We do have a bus that accommodates up to 28 residents at a time and on that day, we will drop off our residents for their shopping trips and doctor’s appointments in the area with prior notice (our residents will sign up in the days leading up to Thursday for where they are needing to go). But it is the responsibility of the resident to be ready and present when our shuttle leaves for the designated trips on Thursday mornings.
Meal Services
We offer a complimentary breakfast, a full breakfast buffet in our dining room every Monday-Friday, from 8am-9am. Because our apartment homes have full kitchens, our lunch and dinner service are “a la carte”, meaning we prepare and send our menus for the following week every Friday. Residents are able to choose if they would like to order lunch/dinner service on that day and we bill for meals ordered at the end of each month. Meals for residents are $12.50/meal.
Aging in Place
With the help of outside home health agencies, we do have residents that are able to age in place. Again however, because we are not an assisted living community and we do not offer clinical and/or daily care, our residents are responsible for their well being. If our residents can live safely and comfortably here at Parc, we would welcome them to continue to age in place. However, if there is a safety concern and/or they are not able to manage their activities of daily living, a resident may need to be moved to a community that offers care. We do have residents though, with the help of outside home health agencies, that do remain at Parc.
Health and Safety Measures
This past month, we did offer flu vaccinations in our community as we had an outside care agency come in and perform the vaccinations for our residents. But flu/covid vaccinations are not required.
Cost and Amenities
As far as the cost, our apartment homes, for a 1 bedroom/1 bath, our rental rates start at $2100/month. In our main tower, we have 1 and 2 bedroom apartment homes and this rent does include utilities, basic cable and wi-fi, and breakfast Monday-Friday.

Active/Independent Living Community for Seniors 55+
We are an Active/Independent Living community for seniors 55+. Meaning, we do not offer clinical assistance services so we do not have caregivers on staff that undergo any sort of clinical training. Our community operates as a traditional condominium, multi-family apartment living community would, however, because we are 55+ we do offer additional activities and events for our residents!
