Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
For Transitional – higher functioning there is a waitlist. For regular memory care, I have private and shared apartments available right away.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have nurses, caregivers with CNA license, med techs along with third party providers such as a visiting physician, Physical therapy, vision care, Elite dental, podiatry, and several others.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We are a secured coded memory care with keypads throughout the community.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Yes, the nurse will provide some insights to this based on doing an assessment and seeing what resources are needed.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We do have a bus that is currently being fixed for field trips.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Each house has 12 apartments, their own kitchen, living room, and dining room. We have a main kitchen that prepares the food and we have larger event spaces for activities and food-related experiences.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
They can speak to the nurse or Executive Director right away.
What is the cost of living in your community?
There is a range: Transitional memory care starts at $2995 and regular memory care starts at $4295 plus care cost: $500, $800, or $1100.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
There is a support group, online newsletter, Facebook postings of activities, and other emails that go out.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Respite is $250 per day. 14 days minimum stay.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, they can also be on hospice here as well. For Transitional – higher functioning there is a waitlist. For regular memory care, I have private and shared apartments available right away.

I used Oxford Glen for a short period of time. From the moment you walk in the door; you are greeted by a wonderful staff. From marketing lady to care manager and executive director and Martha - Everyone is top notch and great at what they do. Extremely professional and quick action when issues happen. Perfect solution for your family needs. If you choose this place you will be in good hands, my mother was in her final days. But above else, she was happy there. Perfect fit for us based on location.
