We currently do not have a waitlist.
Our director staff consist of the following: a maintenance director, two activity directors, a business office manager, full time nurse, chef and executive director.
Our front doors lock daily at 7:00 pm and then family/friends have a code to use on the key pad so they can access the building. We also have monthly fire drills with staff & residents.
We partner with a group called Caravita which offers 40 hours of hands on care to help residents acclimate when they move in. Our nurse is also trained to provide support to a resident. We have weekly non-denominational devotionals should a resident wish to participate.
The Oaks offers complimentary transportation within a 10-15 mile radius for appointments.
Our dining room is designed to be a family style dining experience. Three meals a day are prepared by our in-house chef. Should a resident not like what is offered for lunch or dinner, there is an alternative menu offered such as salads, grilled cheese, hamburgers, etc.
If there is a resident concern, they are welcome to express it to any staff member at which time the issue will be addressed and resolutions offered. If necessary, our executive director will get involved. We also have a monthly meeting with residents as a Town Hall setting so they may bring ideas/concerns/suggestions to our staff. Also, we provide resources to the Ombudsman for all residents.
Costs and Services
Currently the base rate for a studio apartment is $3880, $4360 for a one bedroom and a two bedroom is $6195/month. Medication management is an additional $350/month if a resident needs that and if a resident chooses to live in assisted living our nurse will complete an assessment to determine care level costs which is then added to the base rate. Memory care has comfort level one at $5195/monthly and comfort level two at $6195/monthly.
Most families stop by to visit with the residents or take them out of the community for shopping or dining. Residents also have their own cell phones. As far as memory care residents, families may call at any time to speak to a nurse or request a family meeting to review their current health care plan.
Respite care is $175/day and we suggest a two week minimum stay.
We are a pet friendly community with a weight restriction of 35 lbs and a pet deposit.
We offer covid shots through our in house doctor in addition to covid boosters although it is not required to become a resident.
Finally, all residents are allowed to age in place at The Oaks of Suwanee Creek. We currently do not have a waitlist.
