My sister in law was there after having multiple strokes. She stated that she fell and hit her head and told the staff; they did not mention it to my daughter or my family member who shared medical directive and PO with her. Several things happened during her short stay and the Supervisor of Social Work was more interested in getting paid than attending to her care. Phones ring with no answer consistently. Would not utilize this facility for another family member.
Very under staffed. Can only visit for 30 minutes 3 times a week. Cannot get the doctor to call back nor can I get the nurse to call with updates. also they are not honoring the medical power of attorney and asking the patient for consent when his paper says that he cannot give consent. Now they will not let us move him out to another facility because it is against medical advice. Since the doctor will not call us we cannot find out why it is against medical advice. Don't place anyone here unless you want to deal with what was mentioned above.
This place is a beautiful place but under staff. No one answer the phone when you call to check on your love one. My mom past in this place and in her last hours of life they still didn't give her medicine on time to comfort her. If yours love one is in this place they are not getting taken care of unless they have their mind and can call someone . A person with dementia does not stand a chance.
This is the worst medical experience I’ve ever had. My mother was a patient. The level of care provided to patients is completely substandard. There is one physician and one Nurse practitioner for the entire facility. You are lucky if ever see see either after initial in processing. They never established rehabilitation goals or discussed progress with my mother or myself. 2.5 weeks later I was told she was ready for discharge. She wasn’t able to perform simple tasks like get out of bed to a wheelchair or chair to commode. The social worker is completely inept. She caused more problems than she helped with. Stay away from this place if you possibly can.
