Overview of Professional Staff and Training

Dominion boasts a diverse team including Executive Director, Assistant Executive Director, Life Enrichment, Dining Room, Building Facility, and Clinical staff. The Clinical team is led by a Clinical Services Director who is an RN, alongside a Nurse Manager who is an LPN. Efforts are underway to recruit 2 more RNs. The team also includes Medication Passers, CNAs, and Care staff, all of whom receive appropriate and ongoing training.

Safety and Well-being Measures

With only 94 apartments, our Community prioritizes the safety and well-being of our Residents, under the medical oversight of our Clinical Services Director and Nurse Manager. Management staff also play a crucial role in inspecting and overseeing the Community's operations.

Support Services for New Residents

Dominion welcomes new Residents with the help of the Sunshine Club, Life Enrichment, Resident Family Relations Director, and other staff members. This team ensures a warm welcome and smooth transition for new Residents by introducing them to activities and fellow Residents.

Transportation Services

Our Community provides transportation services with a van and a bus for doctor's appointments, shopping trips, and various outings, ensuring our Residents stay connected and active.

Dining Experience

Residents enjoy a royal dining experience where they can choose their meals in a comfortable setting, with staff dedicated to serving their needs from start to finish.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Issues and complaints are taken seriously, with a clear process involving the Resident Family Relations Director and additional resources provided at lease signing, including access to an Ombudsman and the Edgewood President.

Cost of Living

Living costs vary by apartment type, with Assisted Living 1 bedrooms starting at $4,325 and Memory Care Studios at $6,950. Costs include meals, housekeeping, and laundry services.

Communication with Residents' Families

Medical concerns and building-wide updates are communicated through Clinical staff and emails, respectively. Care Conferences are scheduled for major health-related discussions.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Short-term stays are available at $175/night, providing a furnished apartment and necessary assistance, subject to availability.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the Resident's ability to care for the pet and the pet's size.

Vaccination Services

Covid and flu vaccinations are available through our community clinic, with sign-up sheets provided for Residents.

Aging in Place

Our Community supports Residents through various levels of care as their needs change, including access to Hospice, Home Health, and primary care services within the Community.
