1. Training for CNA and MedTech
The types of training that our CNA and MedTech receive include certification as a medical technician. They go through dementia training and in-service prior to coming on board. Throughout their time here, they also attend many other in-services and training sessions, such as food safety, airborne and blood pathogens, and resident in-service and training.
2. Resident Safety
Resident safety is a top priority. Our doors are locked after 8 PM and don't open until 8 AM. Our concierge is our first point of contact at the front desk.
3. Support Services for Residents
Regarding resources or support services for residents to get involved in the community, we have a senior move manager/estate liquidator, who has helped transition two dozen residents to the community.
4. Transportation Services
We provide transportation to and from doctor appointments twice a month for residents.
5. Resident Complaint Process
The process that takes place for a resident who has a complaint is to either speak with our Health and Wellness Director or any of our two Executive Directors.
6. Cost of Living
Regarding the cost of living in our community, I will attach our brochure that includes our assisted living and memory care room and board prices, along with our monthly level of care prices. This provides a flat rate monthly fee that is withdrawn from a checking or savings account every first of the month.
7. Communication Policies
We have great policies on communication with our families. Upon signing the lease, we provide a leadership directory with names, emails, and phone numbers, as well as the reasons you would reach out to that Director. Our Executive Directors also send out monthly emails to families to keep them up to date on what's happening in the community and any upcoming events.
8. Short-Term Stays
We do offer a minimum of 30 days stay at $215 a day for assisted living and $255 a day for memory care. I have attached our respite flyer.
9. Pet Friendly Community
We are a pet-friendly community with cats and dogs. It costs $50 a month, and residents must be able to care for their animal to have one in the community. We have a designated dog park for pets on the grounds of the community.
Our only available apartments are in our Assisted Living community. Our Memory Care neighborhood is filled up. We have female companion suites, studios, and one-bedroom apartments available in Assisted Living.
