Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Yes, we have a waiting list currently.
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
Yes, 1 Bedroom Private Room starts at $6,300 plus a service level ranging from Service Level 1 to Service Level 4 costs are $1,000 to $3,400.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have 2 Full Time RN’s, 3 LPN’s on staff. All of our staff is trained in dementia specific training. We have CNA’s and PCA’s.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have safety checks specific to the residents. Our community is locked and is a 24/7 monitored community with staff.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
I guess I don’t understand this question. Our residents transition into the community very well.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We do not offer transportation here as it is a liability.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
We maximize our dining here at Edgewood. Meaning we have 3 nutritious home cooked meals and snacks daily.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
If we have a complaint or issue then I always tell our families to let me as the Executive Director know or our Clinical Services Director know. We want to address the issue fast and make sure it is taken care of up to your standards and to exceed your standards.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Communication with resident families is critical as is the one of the most important pieces to our care here at Edgewood. We would communicate with you if there was an issue, a change in services, a change in behavior, or anything that would cause alarm to us. We would notify you. We also have assessments every 90 days so we would have a care conference to discuss this.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer short term stays. We do have respite stays for a spouse. I can explain if you need me to.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We do not allow pets here at Edgewood in our Memory Care Unit.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes we have a pharmacy come in and provide both vaccinations to all residents and staff in our community.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, our goal is to keep the resident to end of life. We do offer Hospice services as well here at Edgewood.
