Overview of Professional Staff and Training
We have a management team of seven, including the Director of Nursing and her assistant. Our staff consists of LPNs, med techs, resident care partners (aides), and certified nursing assistants. All staff complete dementia training and ongoing in-services specific to their department.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We ensure resident safety through a call bell system in apartments, providing pendants, a sign in/out protocol for visitors or when leaving the premises, and a check system for meals and medications to ensure residents are accounted for.
Transition Support Services
Families coordinate the move to our community, with our maintenance team assisting with setting up items such as hanging pictures, curtains, and programming televisions.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays within the Milford area.
Dining Experience
Our dining is restaurant-style with two meal times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu offers an entree choice.
Resident Complaints and Issues
Our Executive Director and Director of Nursing have an open door policy to handle any concerns.
Cost of Living
The cost varies based on apartment type and care needs, ranging from $3895 to $7950, not including care or medication packages in our Assisted Living.
Communication with Residents' Families
We conduct assessments upon admission, after 30 days, and every 6 months, with additional assessments for hospitalizations or changes in condition. Families can communicate with nurses and directors at any time.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Respite stays are available based on Assisted Living availability, with a minimum of 14 days at a cost of $238.50 per day.
Pet-Friendly Community
We are pet-friendly for dogs under 25 pounds with proof of immunizations from the vet.
Waitlist Information
We have a waitlist for desired apartment styles, including studios, one bedrooms, and companion style apartments.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Booster and flu vaccination clinics are conducted within the community.
Aging in Place
Residents can age in place as long as they meet Delaware regulations and can pay for services.
