Mercer Place Description

The heart of Mercer Place beats with the compassion of our staff and the warmth of our home-like senior living community. We create personalized care plans to address the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is always on hand 24/7 to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Residents can engage in a variety of activities, such as tai chi, arts and crafts, bingo, card games, themed parties, and exercise classes. We also host outdoor events such as barbecues and carnivals on our grounds, and go on outings for shopping, dining, entertainment.

Assisted Living

In our community, residents have access to a wide variety of social events and activities, as well as the support of a highly trained staff that can provide them with any necessary personal care. This includes supportive services like bathing, meal preparation, housekeeping and home maintenance.

Respite Care

A short-term stay at an Enlivant community can help you get a feel for the residents and see if it's the right fit for you before making a long-term commitment. If you are a caregiver, you might also consider taking a respite stay when you need a break — whether it’s for work, vacation, or just some much-needed time to yourself. On the other hand, the work environment is described as toxic, with a high turnover rate, and employees feeling unappreciated and disrespected. The corporate office is said to be out of touch with their communities, and there is not enough staff to keep up with the demands of the residents. Despite this, there is lots of overtime available, a flexible work schedule, and PTO and 401k benefits.
