I stayed at Melbourne Terrace while recovering from bypass surgery. To a person, from doctors to custodians to rehab personnel, the services provided were exceptional. The facility is spotless and very well maintained. The food was excellent. I could not have been cared for any better. I highly recommend Melbourne Terrace.
My dad got a severe stroked back in August. There was a small problem the first time dad got admitted to MT. But the second time around was beyond perfect. Isabel the director of admission was so kind. She took care of everything and make sure his admission went smoothly and she even have the director Jason to contact me to reassured me that dad will be well take care of and they'll do their best to help dad. We're from Los Angeles so my main gold is to have dad back to LA to continue rehab close to us so we can take care of him without interfering our work & life. Jason met up with my brother to give us all the details and a plan to help us. Dad is back to LA safely now. Without the help from MT we can't never make this far. I'd like to thank you all the nurses, CNA, therapist, Karen the director of nurse and our amazing case manager Nithesia and all the staffs at MT who have help my dad during this sensitive time. What really touches me is that Isabel and Jason reach out to me the day dad was discharged from MT to fly home to wish us luck. Thank you everyone for your care and please continue to be amazing with all your kinds for continue to help others. Melbourne community is very lucky to have such a loving and professional facility to rely on to care for their loved ones.
My father in law stayed here for 24 days after 2 weeks in ICU. As with any pace you have the good and the bad. But I will have to say that the care that we got with our stay was above and beyond what could have been expected. I used to be a nurse and worked in these type of facilities and cannot say enough good about this place. I would like to give a two thumbs to everyone but three thumbs up to the Nurse Rinn, CNA Angela and PT Patrick and Charlene. These people really stood out and go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and that you have what you need to succeed in your stay. Thank you again for taking such good care of my father in law.

I came to Melbourne Terrace for outpatient therapy after a car accident in January. I cannot be happier with my decision. Before therapy I couldn’t make certain movements like reaching behind me or rolling on my side in bed without pain. I’m 52 and I will tell you that the HUR equipment that uses pressurized air to add weight made exercising a nice fluid motion. Don’t get me wrong, my therapist Mayte did not take it easy on me. She asked me what my goals were and what my daily chores were like at home and at work. She challenged me twice a week to increase my strength and endurance. The entire staff was wonderful and encouraging including the ladies at the check in desk. My fellow outpatients in the gym were also very nice and the hour would fly by with each visit. One thing I want to leave you with is that it doesn’t matter your age or ability they will customize a plan for you!! I am now back to my normal routine and couldn’t be happier. Ty Melbourne Terrace, like their commercial says “Melbourne Terrace got me back to me”!!
My mother was admitted to Melbourne for short term rehabilitation. Nurses Linda and Kathy were absolutely the best in listening to our concerns on working with mom and patiently listening to us. They empathized with our situation and made us feel not alone in the very stressful situation. Highly recommend this facility.
My mom (Maria Santos) was admitted to Melbourne Terrace rehabilitation following a below the knee amputation. With that we knew she would have some challenges physically and mentally. Her care at MT was exceptional and a fundamental step in her learning her new reality. From the moment she got there until the day she was discharged her care givers were attentive to her needs, and always made her feel comfortable and loved which enabled her to head home much faster then she deemed to be possible. Not only was her physical care necessary, but the mental adjustment as well. I’m speaking on behalf of my siblings and dad we are eternally grateful for the compassion of your team for helping her adjust to her new normal. Big thank you to her OT (Mayte) she was exceptional!!! . Thank you Tina, Matt, Mandy, Cynthia, Deanna, Dr. Sang, and truly the entire MTRC team she couldn’t of done it without you all! Thank you again for the wonderful care given to our mother.
Thank you everyone at Melbourne Terrace for taking such good care of my precious mom . This has been the second time she has been to MT after she had a terrible fall again last year and I had no doubt of where the best place for her would be .On top of everything and unprecedented and daunting and scary for everyone, COVID , came along and though I could not see her for quite some time I was kept informed on her condition and care from the beginning .Thank you Tina and your staff , the Drs , Nurses, CNAs, therapists , front desk , drivers , cooking staff, the food menu and selections are great and take in consideration of any special diet needs or likes and dislikes , maintenance staff does a great job , all is spotless and grounds after we could finally visit outside are lovely !If I could remember everyone’s name that has taken such concern and shown such kindness during this time I would list everyone here. Thank you Mikayla for reaching out and your time as I figure out next steps for my mom .Julie you have been a Godsend 🙏🏻My mom at this time is still there and I know she Is wonderfully cared for .I recommend Melbourne Terrace with 5 stars !

Awesome, Fantastic, and an Outstanding Facility! Words cannot explain how wonderful Management & the Staff who cared for our Mom, Adele Mapp. Our Mom was treated like Royalty a true Queen from the time she was admitted until the time she transitioned to be with our Lord and Savior. Dr. Ballout, Tina the Administrator, Matt the Assistant Administrator, Ashleigh the Director of Nursing, Finance, Receptionist, Therapy, Wound Care, Diana, Mom’s guardian Angel and her Restorative Care Team, CNA’s, Nurses, Housekeeping, VITAS Healthcare Team and Stella the transporters. Where do I begin? My mother was admitted to Melbourne Terrace in September. From the very first day, the front office staff and Administration checked on her daily for me. Her Guardian Angel always communicated with me and made me feel okay since I couldn’t always see her. She loved the therapists, nurses and CNAs for always helping her. She discharged home after her stay and is doing great! Thank you to all the staff at Melbourne Terrace for taking care of my mom. You all are the absolute best!
