3 out of 5 stars. Based on 3 reviews
Employees of Volunteers of America in the Arlington, VA area generally have positive things to say about their experience. They appreciate the opportunity to create a program from their own knowledge and see the residents benefit from it. However, they also note that there is a lack of guidance from upper management and that things change often without notice. They also express that they are not paid well and that they now have to work 12 hour shifts. Despite the challenges, employees find it rewarding to help clients with addiction and substance abuse gain their recovery and to learn about different behavior patterns and addiction for women who have experienced trauma.Employee Reviews for Volunteers of America
