Magnolia Springs is a very warm and inviting community. The facility is beautiful and is in a wonderful location. They have so many activities daily to keep the residents active. The staff express great care for their residents throughout the day and truly have a passion for this community.Magnolia Springs is the only place I would have my loved ones go if I could no longer care for them.
During my mothers stay, the flu epidemic caused the residence to be quarantined. When food was brought to her room, they didn't open containers, remove wrapping, tops, or have food cut up. I found that no matter how many times I ask staff to please present food ready to eat, they still continued to just drop off food, sometimes at the counter and not cut into small bite size pieces and left still enclosed. (She can't use walker and carry her food to the table.) Had I not been there, she would not have been able to eat most of her food and would not have been able to drink at all because all drinks are sealed. Some of the staff was better than others at helping her and to chose from the menu. The place is a great place but I was reminded that it is an assisted living facility. Overall, Staff could use better training.
I feel that their medical staff needs to have better training on how to deal with traumatic brain injuries and memory loss patients. I got my mother through liver cancer. She was transplanted eight years ago after chemo embolization. As a medical professional and the daughter of a person residing here I am not impressed. I think that the staff is rude and very unprofessional. They need additional training.
As a senior living advisor, my experience with this community is exceptional. They are always eager and willing to meet with my clients to tour the community, even in the evenings and on the weekends. After my clients move into the community, their customer service is top notch! The staff truly gets to know every resident and that connection shows. I would highly recommend Magnolia Springs.
I interned at Magnolia as a senior at Bellarmine University and was thoroughly impressed by their operation. The nature of the internship gave me the opportunity to see the community internally from many different perspectives, and there was not one department that I felt was lacking. I would be happy to trust their welcoming and caring staff with my own family any day.
I spend many hours in and out of assisted living communities. It is always refreshing when I walk in the door of Magnolia Springs Louisville! Employees and residents are always wearing a smile and the residents are always doing an activity no matter what time I arrive or depart. All of the smiles are contagious! Great place!
My great aunt had a 6 week stay for rehab st Magnolia Springs on Whipps Mill. I saw new life in her during her stay. She had 3 great meals everyday, while meeting some wonderful people both associates as well as other residents. She was just a social butterfly, which she really loves. Her room was spacious and very inviting. She had everything she needed and more. The staff was exceptional and always invited her to the many wonderful activities. They had only the best in mind for her with the rehab and she loved getting her hair done!
My Mom Martha Reed has lived at Magnolia Springs for about 4 years total. Her last year has been in Memory Care. My Mom absolutely LOVES living here! We as a family couldn't be happier! The food is delicious. The facility is spotless and is like living in a fancy hotel! The staff is very professional and the green shirt girls go above and beyond when caring for my Mom. Melissa (Memory Care director) is one of the kindest people I know! Look no further if your family needs an assisted living facility!!

My grandparents live at Magnolia Springs East and we have been very pleased with everything there. We have no doubt that someone is always looking out for them. They have lots of fun activities planned for them- the food is really good, and the staff is always willing to work with us to meet any needs that pop up. Management is very responsive and keeps promises. Highly recommend.
Every time I come to visit, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The residents always have smiles on their faces and the activities and celebrations are endless. The events are always catered with top-of-the-line meals and desserts that would make anyone smile. The facility is more like a home setting and is very clean and bright. The chef and kitchen staff are FIRST CLASS! I would trust Magnolia Springs with any of my loved ones.
