Larry's Lakehouse is dedicated to the memory of Mary's father, Larry Wilsford, who was a native Texan. Larry left behind a rich legacy of family, friends and active service in the community throughout his life. So when the idea for this home was being hatched, naming it after Larry, who always loved the water, was an easy choice.
Founders, Mary and David Monk, residents of Katy, have been married for over 22 years. Three of their four children live and work in Katy and one in Austin. They have been active members of Grace Fellowship United Methodist at the Equestrian Center for 20 years. Mary has been practicing nursing for the last 23 years, bringing a wide background of experience to Larry's Lakehouse. David is a real estate broker who has worked in Katy and the Houston area for the last 29 years. Mary and David wanted to provide a care option to the residents of Katy that lives up to our legendary Texas community. It is their sincere hope that Larry's Lakehouse will be a blessing to the families and community of Katy.
