One review details a distressing experience with unclean conditions upon move-in, neglectful staff, and inadequate incident reporting.
Despite these criticisms, many reviews commend the facility for its beautiful setting, the responsiveness and helpfulness of certain staff members, and the overall sense of community. The management team is noted for being hands-on and welcoming, and the care staff is lauded for their excellent service. The facility's engagement in public events and its efforts to integrate residents into the wider community are also appreciated.
While some reviews suggest areas for improvement, particularly in management practices and food service, the majority of feedback is positive, highlighting the Landings of Genesee Valley as a recommended choice for senior living in the Flint area. The facility is described as clean, friendly, and inviting, with a strong emphasis on resident care and satisfaction.
Reviews
The staff is good I live in building 4 the indipendent building. I like 4 staff my favorite one quit I perfer not to say her name out of respect. I have had problems with 3 staff who were mean and rude to me and it is getting taken care of. I don't like some of the food. I don't like that the side walks don't go all the way around the building. And the screened in porch does not have enough chairs to sit on. And the rent is way to expensive it needs to be lowered. I am on a fixed income and me and my family can't afford for me to live her we are struggling.
