Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
The interdisciplinary care team helps the resident to transition and adjust. This includes the nursing staff, resident engagement staff, social workers, dietician and dietary staff as well.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We do offer transportation to locally scheduled medical appointments, as available.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Staff call families via telephone as well.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do offer respite stays-a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of six weeks in a calendar year. The cost information is in the previous e-mail.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We are pet friendly. Residents can receive visits from pets, but they are not able to live with them at our facility. We do ask for the pets vaccination record and we keep this on file.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We offer an onsite influenza and COVID vaccination clinic annually. If a resident wishes to receive any vaccination we will make arrangements to get them there and have it done.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes…for certain care needs. The level of care explanations I sent in the previous e-mail goes into detail regarding the care needs and services we offer. But further discussion is best to have a thorough explanation. We currently have some availability.
