I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR MY ANIMALS. My dad was treated horribly at this facility. They left a urinal cap in his brief. He has a horrible bed sore that was not there when he came in. They said he was incontinent and he was NOT he just needed assistance. He called out for help to use the bathroom and an employee opened the door and said they were not getting him up. The aides and nurses were rude. He was a 2 assist and ONE aide came in to move him from the wheelchair to the bed and she hurt him. He yelled in pain. My niece and nephew were there to witness this. We over heard the nurses and aides talking at their desk about patients and even said they would like to choke the patient after they rubbed their neck.My dad also fell out of the bed because he was probably trying to go to the bathroom. The room had not been even cleaned. I found a women's bra behind the couch.

Horrible. I had a Family member admitted here. I was so happy to see it was a nice room. Well let me tell you one thing. You can remodel and make it pretty all you want the STAFF AND CARE WAS HORRIBLE. Family was in with my Dad all day until end of visiting hours. My Family member was not taking care of. I counted the Adult diapers at night and there was the same amount every day when we came in the next morning. We went to change him ourself and he had dried up feces all over his bottom and a urinal cap stuck to his private area where it had been all night. He has fallen out of the bed. We were told by The Social worker there would be no alarm on the bed until he fell out of the bed. No alarm was ever placed. He was a 2 person assist at all times. One young aid came in to transfer him from his wheelchair to his bed while my Daughter and 15 year old Grandson was there. The aid got his feet and legs stuck under the wheelchair and hurt him. My Grandson was so upset and distraught he asked his Mom why she had to hurt his Papaw.I walked out to go to the nurse station and I heard them talking about patients. I walked and got my Sister to witness them doing so. There was also a patient up there with them. The nurse AND I HAVE HER NAME she stated oh my back oh my neck yeah I just want to go rub his neck then choke him. That just happen to be my FAMILY MEMBER MY DAD!!! She also stated the other patient oh my knee. Which that happened to the lady in rehab she had knee surgery. That is against confidentiality. My Dad was complaining of his kidneys hurting and has a history of ongoing bladder and kidney infections. We asked when he was admitted to check to see if he had a UTI 6 days later after we complained the nurse said to leave his urinal on bedside table that she would be right in. WOW WE WROTE TIME DOWN. 11:05 IT WAS PLACED ON TABLE. IT TOOK HER OVER 4 HOURS TO COLLECT IT. AND THAT IS BECAUSE WE SAID WE WERE TAKING HIM HOME THAT HE WAS NOT STAYING ANOTHER NIGHT.We found a women's bra behind the couch. The food was disgusting he had 5 yes I said 5 dumplings and 8 green beans. That was so funny and sad at the same time. We had to bring food in.He has a huge open wound on his butt and the nurse that comes out to his home said it was from being wet.My Dad was told NO multiple times that he could not get up to use the bathroom that they weren't doing it that he could use a urinal. He also needed to use the bedside commode to have a bowel movement and he was told to use it in his depends. My Dad may have been in there but his main health issue was his cancer he still knows what is going on.No person should ever be treated this way EVER.WE HAVE PICTURES AND DOCUMENTATION AND WITNESSES.ALSO THE FALSIFYING DOCUMENTS IN THIS PLACE IS UNREAL!!!!!I WOULD NIT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.IT IS ALSO SAD THAT THE EMPLOYEES ARE MAKING FAKE ACCOUNTS YO POST GOOD REVIEWS AND THE RETALIATION FOR OUR HONEST RESPONSES ARE GOING UP THE LADDER.Now that my Dad has been discharged and He is under Hospice and has been for 2 days Kensington just called to have a Nurse come out to do a follow up. That is funny because MEDICARE WOULD NOY PAY FOR THAT AND THEY KNOW IT. Also I told them they didn't take care of him the week he was there why do they want to come now. $$$$$$$$ that's all it is about!!!!

My mother is a 75 year old lady who has dementia and is allowed to sat in her wheel chair 24/7 because they say it's abusive to be her to bed when she says no but don't care that her legs have swollen three times her leg size since come to them.  They seem to think it's OK to drink when they come to work but never give the residents anything to drink while they are there.

Kensington is the absolute worse place to take anyone you love & care about! My Papaw was there for rehab. In less than a week they caused more damage than good! Absolutely cannot stress enough, they WILL NOT take care of your loved ones! Papaw was a 2 person assist & we were lucky to see 1 person in his room! They would not help change his soiled clothes/briefs, left them on him overnight until we arrived for our visit the following day. Rude staff & extremely rough with him, allowing him to fall out of his bed! Please do not let your loved ones even tour this place!

My great grandmother stayed here and was not well taken care of. She was not incontinent but they insisted she use a diaper and then rarely changed her. They were very neglectful in their actions and rarely checked on her. Her food was always cold everytime I was there(which was pretty often after I picked up on how she was treated) I would not recommend taking a loved one here.

Awful. My papaw was in the rehab side. They let him fall out of the bed. One nurse moved him by herself even though he was required 2 nurses to move him. This nurse hurt him during the move. They did not change his briefs. Our family would.come in at 8 am and from 8 am to 8pm we would only see the person who collects the food tray. We were lucky enough to get him out of there and at home with hospice. If you love your family stay away!!! This place should be investigated for sure!

There staffing is horrible, no bedside manner, understaffed, and the staffing that is there, seems as though has no training. Was very disappointed, sad but true is ALL bout the money! Thats all they want is money They were gonna let my sister just set in there intil she died because they know that they can get money off her!!!!! So Disappointing and how the world is today!!!

I was here for rehab and the facility was great. However food usually arrived cold. The therapy was great and most of the staff was friendly and helpful. There were a few instances that it took staff about an hour or more to arrive after calling for them this was mostly on weekends during the evening or night shift.
