Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents? YES, All residents are issued an emergency pendant to use whenever needed 24hrs a day / 7days a week. Level of care is determined by your Primary Care Physician report (602a) and assessment by our Health Services Director. All safety measures will be a part of the resident care plan.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community? YES, our dept managers and I participate in the on-boarding of all residents. As a team, we ensure that new residents are comfortable, getting the care they need, and help them to make new friends and develop a rhythm to their new journey in life!
Do you offer transportation services for residents? Yes, we offer transportation for residents.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience? YES, Food is very important to all residents, and we are blessed to have an excellent Executive Chef Alan who never disappoints in his food selection, quality of preparation, and taste! We are very proud to have him. And when you choose to tour our community, I will make sure you have lunch or dinner on us!
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed? All resident issues are received at the Front Desk Concierge who will direct it to the appropriate department manager. If a resident is unsatisfied, we elevate their issues to our Executive Director. Our Executive Director has an open-door policy where anyone can speak to her just by asking at the Front Desk Concierge. We also have monthly resident council meetings every 2nd Wednesday of the month. This is open to all residents and family. We also invite our local Ombudsman to our monthly resident meetings. The Ombudsman is an advocate for seniors, and she has been coming for many years. We want to remain completely transparent in addressing resident needs.
What is the cost of living in your community? We have Private Studios from $4,695/mo, One Bedrooms from $5,895/mo, and Two Bedrooms from $6,795/mo. We are on a month-to-month tenancy. A resident agreement is signed that price protects tenants for one year from rent increase. However, should a resident decide to leave, all that is required is a 30-day written notice to vacate. Level of care is in addition to the apartment rent. There is a one-time $6,000 Community Fee upon reserving an apartment home. It is refundable by proration within 90 days.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being? Family and visitors are welcome to bring their well-behaved pets to visit. Most pet visitors are conditioned to stop at the front desk where the concierge has dog treats for all dog visitors who can sit! Our residents appreciate friendly animals and will love on them.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community? YES, we hold once a year Vaccination Clinics offering COVID, Flu, and RSV vaccinations. Doctors and nurses come to our community and most everyone here will get vaccinated in our large Community Room.
Are residents able to age in place? ABSOLUTELY Marie! We fully embrace the Age in Place concept and have many residents who move in as independent knowing that they will eventually need assistance. When that time arrives, they do not have to move, our Health Care Staff comes to them 24/7. Aging in Place, a feel like home environment, and a safe place for loved ones is what sets us apart from other communities. Should a loved one need Memory Care, we have a specialized secure Evergreen Community that we would move them to for appropriate care. Please be aware that some Independent Communities say that you can get assistance, but it is incumbent upon family to arrange for Home Health Care to come to the community and must deal with a situation when a caregiver unable to come in one day. It is quite a bit different than our on-site health care 24/7. We are always here and here till the end of life.

Common praises include the quality of food, the range of daily activities available, such as gym access, movie theaters, and a wide variety of social events. The locations of these facilities are appreciated for their convenience and pleasant surroundings, including well-maintained courtyards and walking paths.
Specifically, the menu options at both locations have been described as appealing, with one resident noting the excellence of the meals provided. The staff across both facilities are consistently mentioned for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Amenities such as pools, lounging areas, and clean, nicely decorated common areas add to the appeal.
However, concerns have been raised regarding the size and cost of the apartments, with some describing the living spaces as cramped and expensive. The lack of central air conditioning in some areas and the desire for more varied meal options, including healthier choices, were also noted. Despite these concerns, the overall sentiment remains positive, with many appreciating the care and services provided.
