Been here multiple times visiting a family member. They are so short on staff. People have to wait long periods of tine to have their needs met. We’ve even been here and seen the ones that live there fall because no one is around to help when they need help. Mother’s Day weekend was especially bad! Nurses’s and CNAs running around and no extra help. I felt bad for them and really bad for my aunt and all the people that live there.
Extremely unprofessional. The director of nursing can’t make anything better when she’s in the middle of administration and the assistant director of nursing. They are friends that go out and drink and party together. Personal life is too involved. Morning meetings are spent on Tinder looking for a new boyfriend for the administrator. They are all young and inexperienced and unprofessional.
Please, for the love of God, do not bring your loved ones here. The "care takers" will leave them to rot while they gossip and play on their phones. 1st day my grandfather was here it took 4+ hours to get a room (AFTER leaving the ER with him and getting approval for a room) and never got fed in that time period! We filed a grievance (which took another few hours).. Day 2, we realized that these people were aboslutely being neglected after somebody cried for water for 20 minutes... then was told "NO. You'll get some with lunch".. which was served AT LEAST AN HOUR later. When we took him out to go somewhere more reliable, they claimed his clothes were being "washed".. nearly a week later THEY STILL CAN'T FIND THEM. I just stood there for an hour waiting for them to find them after they said they would be ready waiting for us.. turn to the left and see a man wearing my grandfathers sweatpants. The entire time I waited, the care giver was activating a mans cell phone for him, while patients soiled themselves and cried for help in the next room. NOBODY WAS WITH THESE PATIENTS. After an hour of watching these poor souls look at me with misery and despair in their eyes, I was asked to leave and come back to get the clothes because they simply cannot find them. If you have any love for your family member, I am BEGGING you not to let them live the last of their days here. This place needs to be shut down and half of the staff needs to be imprisoned. I WILL be filing a second grievance!
