    Nestled amongst the farms of central Maine, Heritage Rehabilitation and Living Center is located in the rural community of Winthrop, between Augusta and Lewiston. We offer skilled therapy for rehabilitation, skilled nursing for acute conditions, and residential care for people that need some assistance while still maintaining high levels of independence. The nursing and rehabilitation staff of Heritage have the ability to exceed your expectations. With our state of the art Therapy Room we are able to offer both inpatient and outpatient therapy programs that are geared to meet your individual needs.

    Heritage Rehabilitation and Living Center offers several amenities that help to set us apart from other area nursing homes. Fine restaurant-style dining allows residents to make meal choices from menus. A busy Activity program affords residents the opportunity to become involved in the local community or get to know their fellow residents with many in-house activities. Free wireless internet and a computer access for all residents to use add to the benefits of staying at Heritage.

    As a small 52-bed continuing care community, Heritage Rehabilitation and Living Center has the unique ability to provide for the individual needs of each patient and resident while providing treatment for very complex and acutely ill individuals that rivals the care available and provided in larger urban centers.
