    Heritage Health of Peru, Illinois, in LaSalle County, opened in 1965. It was one of the first nursing homes built by the Heritage family of senior care. Despite changes to senior care over the years, our goals have not waivered. We maintain a friendly neighborhood atmosphere while offering skilled nursing care for the community’s seniors. At Heritage Health of Peru, each resident is a part of our family.

    We provide outstanding senior care to each of our residents in a variety of ways like short-term care, skilled nursing care, respite care, and hospice care. We are a Medicare-certified, and Medicaid accepted campus.

    It is with great pride we offer our RESTORE Therapy program, which enables us to serve our residents comprehensively and with excellence. Our therapists specialize in speech, occupational, physical, and respiratory therapy. We also have access to IV and wound care with a wound care physician on-site once per week. Our skilled staff provides total parenteral nutrition (TPN) and tracheostomy care. At Heritage Health of Peru, our rehabilitation unit includes private rooms for convenience and comfort. These rooms come complete with a refrigerator and recliners. We provide skilled therapy with individual and personalized goals for each resident.

    Our services are not limited to the medical care of our seniors. Everyone feels happier and confident when they feel and look their best! That is why we offer resident hair salon appointments on-site. Our amazing grounds staff keeps our flower garden beautiful for the residents to enjoy in the fresh air. Residents can view the vast green space from our cozy and open gazebo at our senior community.
