Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We undergo monthly, quarterly, and in some areas weekly training.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have someone at our desk at Liberty Estates 24/7 – as far as the rest of our community, we have staff on our campus 24/7 – we lock our doors after a certain hour at both of our buildings and any visitor has to be admitted in by staff via a buzzer.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Yes, we have several resources available.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, we have transportation available-this would be only for our residents at the nursing home.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Answered above.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
We address it with our Administrator/Village Manager immediately.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We stay in constant contact with families/we offer care plans at the nursing home and our independent residents at Liberty Estates families are in contact with us via their own free will or their loved ones who live with us.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Yes, we have respite stays at both Liberty Estates and on our Assisted Living Neighborhood (those rates would need to be discussed with the people in the above mentioned note to you).
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes, we are pet friendly – this would need to be discussed regarding where exactly a pet would be living.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes they are and that is one of our top priorities for our residents. Memory Care – Fitness for the Mind only.
Welcome to Our Complete Retirement Community
We are a complete retirement community offering everything from single family homes, independent senior living at an 82 unit apartment complex, Assisted Living which is located within Hawthorne Inn. Hawthorne Inn also offers long term care, memory care, Bounce Back (rehab) stays.
Our Staff
Our staff are all trained and qualified to work in their designated areas in which they are best suited. We have a wait list for our Memory Lane – Fitness for the Mind. As far as the other areas of living, we do not have a current wait list.
