Professional Staff and Training
Our staff includes Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and all members of our clinical department are required to have previous experience working with memory care and assisted living residents, focusing on dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Safety and Well-being Measures
For memory care, we have a secured unit that requires a passcode for employees to enter, and family members must be buzzed in by our memory care staff. We conduct two-hourly rounds to check on residents. Assisted living residents receive 24/7 care with similar two-hourly rounds. A care plan is established before residents move in to ensure their needs are met. The community is secured at 9:00 PM, with residents having a code for after-hours access. Emergency pull cords are installed in each apartment, bathroom, and bedroom.
Transition Support Services
Our staff assists with the transition into the community and encourages new residents to participate in activities to get to know others.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation to doctor appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays within a 15-mile radius. Shopping trips are organized by the activities team, with staff accompanying residents. Memory Care residents are taken to local restaurants and sightseeing outings.
Dining Experience
Our dining room offers restaurant-style dining with a menu featuring two entrees to choose from, as well as an always-available menu for additional options.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
All complaints are directed to the Executive Director for resolution.
Cost of Living
Studio apartments range from $3,991 to $4,315, and one-bedroom apartments are $4,855, plus additional costs based on the level of care determined by our Director of Nursing.
Communication with Residents' Families
The Director of Nursing conducts assessments every 60 days and holds conferences with families to discuss any changes in health or behavior.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term or respite stays for Assisted Living at a cost of $230 per day.
