About Harbor Point
Harbor Point was the first community dedicated exclusively to memory care on Cape Cod over 20 years ago and we celebrate our reputation as the very best. We are proud to be consistently referred by health care providers, support groups, elder services agencies, and families across Cape Cod.
Our Commitment to Memory Care
Being dedicated to memory care means every associate and resident knows exactly what their day will look like and rises to that occasion every day. We lead the industry in continuous staff training and professional development to support our unique residential model.
Our Staff
We are also proud of the longevity of our staff-most are 5 to 20 year employees with a special group having over 20 years of service. We do not use any temp staff for direct caregiving in a time when most communities are full of temporary staff.
Our Community
Our warm, cozy community puts an emphasis on individual experiences for people with memory decline. Spaces are small, comfortable, and easy to navigate-one is never in the “wrong place”. Our neighborhoods have an average of only 15 residents each to promote familiarity and success for each individual-they dine and interact first with people they know and recognize, and then if they choose, they can venture out to other neighborhoods and broaden their world at their pace.
Our Staffing Model
Our staffing model allows for us to keep the same team members in neighborhoods so that residents gain trust and friendship with their caregivers. In this way our team is dedicated to making sure that every resident feels comfortable and has meaningful experiences every day. We meet each resident where they are and see that they are successful in their daily lives however that may look.
