Where to begin, Well everyone please tour a Rehab facility before choosing one. Even if it is short term 1-2 weeks it will make a difference. This place was dirty, smelly and overall gross. On the first day they told my mother that they only are allowed 1 shower a week. You must sponge bath on the other days. When we asked why, they said due to staffing issue. The next morning my mother ( who was bed ridden from surgery) needed to use the bathroom. She pressed her nurse button and waited about 15 minutes. She then couldn't hold it and found her way to her walker and went to the bathroom. She was in pain and needed help so her roommate pressed her nurse button for help. 10 more minutes- no one came. We also had a theft issue where money was taken out of her wallet in her night stand. Needless to say we transferred her out of this hell hole and into a wonderful clean facility! My mom is there now and is so happy. I also witnessed horrific sadness in this nursing home. Elderly/disabled people put in wheel chairs and left in the hall for hours. The smell coming from them horrific. I was appalled. Please do not send your loved ones there. There were a few very nice nurses and staff who did work there so its not everyone there. I feel those people should find another facility to work for. They have so much to offer.
