My grandma was here for a bit , and from what I saw this place is nice and clean , the nurses responded in a timely manner , they have activities for the residents. There was a time my grandma didn't like her meal and they quickly replaced it with something she enjoyed

The staff at Gordon Lane really care about the residents. I especially appreciate that with all the various needs that they must meet, they are as responsive as possible when I have a particular concern about mom. And as busy as they all are, I've heard how some will go visit mom or sit with her, and I am so grateful for that. With all the various needs of the elderly and disabled that they must deal with, they do it with real care, a little humor if possible and truly have heart. ☺<3

My grandma had horrible care in my opinion. She ended up back in the ER because of them. I would NEVER put a loved one here or recommend it. She got little portions of food.. They even lost one of her shirts. Don't recommend going here.

My uncle was there from May - June 2021 recovering from surgery and some urine issues. He received great care at this facility. They do have strict visiting guidelines which we had no problems with. They are always available to assist with Medicare questions and other general health problems. While there he was transported to see other doctor specialist. They brought in vision, dental, and podiatrist services. Olga answered all of our questions and concerns. Can't thank them enough.

This is the worst nightmare to take your loved one to. Staff is horrible, they dont assist your loved one. My mother had to wait 1 hour for them to help her go to the bathroom, she was laying in her pee and poop because she could get up at times and she kept asking for help while nurses were in the hallway chatting laughing and talking about personal stuff. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It disgusts me and I pray that God gives these people what they deserve!! The nurse was jumping over toilet paper with poop in the bathroom instead of picking it up. The older lady next to my mothers bed had a poop accident and the nurse, threw the blankets on the ground and left them there. I went to visit my mother after my other family members had stopped by and these blankets were there for 6 hours and still no one picked them up. The room smelled like poop, it was disgusting. The sliding door lock is broken, which means that anyone from outside could come in from the streets and hurt your loved one. The pictures from the website look good, but once you get there its old and its not kept up. The place is dirty and I was told by my mother that they are nice once family members are there, but once they leave, they treat our loved ones like they are non existent. I will be reporting this to the better business bureau because this is horrible to have our loved ones mistreated by people that chose a career they dont love. I beg you please dont send your loved ones here, my heart breaks for the way they treat people here, I dont understand why this place is still open.

My friend of over 50 years was at Gordon Lane rehabing after a fall. She was in a room with 2 other patients but was placed by a sliding door with a screen so we could visit her through the screen. The staff there was wonderful to her. They helped her do everything she needed and while she was only there 10 days, they knew just how much or little care she needed. Olga was fantastic and so attentive to her and to us as we needed her to be. She had Dr.s, nurses, PT's and others daily. Her recovery was on schedule and there wasn't anything we needed that she did not have. Covid was not even an issue there as every precaution regarding distancing, masks and cleanliness were all as they should be. I can't thank the people at Gordon Lane enough for taking such great care of someone who is very special to us. Dr. J.

My Dad has been asking me to help him write this forever! My family had a really great experience at Gordon Lane. My Grandpa lived there for 4 years. He had really great care by people who where like family to him & to all of us, really. Ramon was on top of his meds, and just a really great nurse, KK & Grace really cared for him. Sandy at the front desk was always great at tracking him down for phone calls for us whether he was on the patio or activities room. Janeth & Teresa handled his appointments and handled way more than we were able to do ourselves. Jaime, Chloe, Ana & Toni were great, always good for a hug and a laugh. Ana made sure he was comfortable with room mates, Arturo helped with just about everything, they would visit him if he ever had a hospital stay, Toni would go out and buy menudo for Tata when he was at the end of his life and gave up on eating. His CNA's and many staff members came to his services when he passed away. He was 98. Thank you Gordon Care. You all have been so great.

If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would! My mother took a fall and needed to be cared for and rehabilitation upon touring the facility we agreed to have mom put here, biggest mistake ever!!!! We were blatantly lied to but Ana who claimed to know everything about her insurance and that our mom would be covered 1-31 days no co payment of course if she rehabbed early she would be released never once was it explained that the doctor there could send her out if she supposedly  he felt like it!!!!  She went in on the 24th of January, was supposed to get physical therapy twice a day I asked several times to speak to this doctor to find out her care plan to no avail that is until I complained when they started talk of her release after only being there these than two weeks at which time he phoned me and gave me the run around as I complained she was not getting the physical therapy promised to us....the next day I was given papers saying she was to be released along with being asked to finally talk about her care plan which I was told they didn't have to have until her 14th day! It's redundant that we had the meeting and we were told about how great she was doing with therapy which started only after I complained!!!!  We filed an appeal but it was denied and after trying to appeal the appeal we were told that we would have to pay for her to stay really??? Wow so today we took mom home, they wanted me to sign a paper stating we were taking her home against doctors advice, YES THEY KICKED HER OUT AND NO I DID NOT SIGN THIER PAPER!! Why because they were trying to move her to their long term care which is not covered by insurance this place is a JOKE & only in it for the MONEY!!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM GORDON LANE AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!

Customer service from management to cleaning, CNAs, nurses, social workers, case management, admissions to their rehab therapies are just a few of the reasons I would not hesitate to take my loved ones to this skilled nursing facility if needed. Everything is easy as well, from reception to billing, response times, etc. Not to mention the phenomenal care that is provided from the compassionate staff at Gordon Lane.

My father in law was there for one night due to him having to return to the hospital the following day. Based on the one night experience he was treated great. Then I spoke to the admissions coordinator who’s name is Olga. She was the most informative person about services they offer as no one could have explained it better. Too bad we didn’t get to experience much to give u more further explanation to care from there. But if u have any questions to the facility definitely ask for Olga she is the best. Good luck to all. My recommendation please do an inventory of ur live ones belongings in there presence or don’t drop it off until you can do it together with social worker so there is no misunderstandings.

My Grandma recently broke her hip & her physician listed 3 local nursing homes he goes to. I chose Gordon Lane because the staff was knowledgeable from our first tour & visit. I met with Ana & Dennis who explained insurance & rehab to me. I am a nurse so, I was able to wrap my head around the rest of the care & I was hard on myself for not being able to care for her at home by myself. The truth is, if she had tried to rehab at home, she wouldn't have done so well both physically and emotionally. Rudy and Krista played such a big role in her progress & in her willingness to to rehab. I found every staff member to be accommodating. The parking can sometimes be challenging and one day when I was waiting for a parking spot to open up, the business rep saw me & told me about the rear parking & even called the front office to have people move their cars for families. They are proactive in customer service and my family appreciates every bit of care and service we recieved. I recommend this nursing home to anyone who needs to rehab.

My Aunt has had a few knee surgeries. The first time, my family & I tried to have her come home from the hospital because we couldn't stand the thought of her staying at a nursing home. Well, she did not rehab well even with a nursing service that came to our home to offer her physical therapy which led to a lot of pain and some major set backs both physically & emotionally. When the time for revision came around, my family and I surrendered to the idea of sending her to a nursing center. From the start, this staff was attentive & caring. I was surprised that the shared room my aunt had was spacious. There was a big patio window that made the room appear bigger. The Physical therapy team was on point! Rudy & Krista have been fantastic. The ladies in the office are very friendly and I was surprised that the gentleman managing the building knows all the patients by name! I wasn't expecting this type of warmth & Care from "an institution" this center really exceeded my expectations.

Let's start by saying I have volunteered in places like this before and I can say Gordon Lane does have a very caring staff. My grandfather has been here for a while now and every time I visit him he always seems happy and the staff is always super awesome to me and my family members. For the most part everything has been pretty clean and the other patients I have interacted with were also very kind. I can't say enough good things about this place so far. I am really happy my grandfather is being taken care of and I trust the employees here.

To be clear I passed my national and I am a certified emergency medical technician. That being said this establishment is horrible. Do not put your loved ones here. With the minimal amount of time that I have spent here visiting a loved one I have seen horrible values in every employee I've encountered. You can honestly tell they look at each one of the elderly's that are here for care like they are already dead. These are people whose minds are still capable of loving and hurting. Their physical body just can't keep up. It's very sad. I hope to god management reads this and acts.

I would highly recommend Gordon Lane.  A truly great facility with the most wonderful care givers.  We had to move my mom from the hospital very quickly into an assisted living situation to recover from a fall.  We looked at several places that had openings, but by far this had a "good" feeling.  It is not the newest, by far, but truly what we were looking for was a clean facility with  well taken care of people and we were not disappointed.  Physical therapy was wonderful as well.  Always on time and so caring too.   I would easily recommend this to anyone!!!  Thank you for treating my mom so well.

I can't help but wonder what facility these 5 star reviewers are talking about because our experience at Gordon Lane was terrible. If your loved one has the option of rehabilitation at home in any way, do it. They don't help your loved one get to the bathroom, have an attitude when getting basic items ready like medicine (or they act like they're just about to do it and you'll be waiting 12 hours later for pain medication that never arrives), don't deliver food, ignore patients yelling for help, and retaliate for complaints. Beware of the kind facade to your face, and then the horrible treatment of your family member once you leave. I also witnessed numerous complaints from various residents and their families during the time my loved one was there. Do not have your family member stay here. Gordon Lane should be ashamed of themselves. The unfortunate thing is that there needs to be an overhaul of the entire system because this is the norm, not the exception (this is why I say if there can be care given at home, do it). I still feel like crying about everything my family member went through.Pay attention to the one stars. They are very accurate and reflective of the type of treatment your family member will receive. There is a pattern of taking advantage of the elderly. Please don't have the guilt that comes after using this facility.

My Sister had a knee replacement and her Doctor wanted to send her to a rehab near the hospital she had her surgery at but that was too far from her home and too far for me to visit. I did some research and found that this care center was close too us and varried a five star rating. At first we didnt know what to expect because the Dr. Who did the surgery wouldn't follow her as far as Fullerton. Gordon Lane helped us with that. They had a physician see my Sister the same day she discharged from the hospital snd he's great! This nursing staff has been so kind to my Sister and the rehab team has been so encouraging! Rudy, Krista & Raj have really motivated her to get strong again. Ana has been a Godsend to us. She helped us understand what our insurance would cover and related it in such a simple way, a way we could understand. I cant believe how well she is doing! Im so thankful for the love and care this facility has shown us!

My friend is a patient there at this moment. She did not get a shower 1 week and 4 days. She has had her bed changed 1 time in over a week. Theywon't get a doctor in to see my friend. She cant breath and they ignore her. I beg you to find another place to go. I am calling the health dept in the morning. Horrible staff. Horrible conditions This was written 2 days agoNow my friend has checked her self out and ended up in the Er. She has pneumonia if she could have seen a doctor and been on antibiotics this wouldn't have happened. This is one of those places that just keep the beds full for the money this is not a place to go to get well. That's my opinion

Gordon Lane Care Center is a feel at home Nursing Facility. I was pleased to be apart of this team. They welcome every patient, family, and employee with open arms. The nurses monitor patients tentatively and staff is always helpful ! A highlight of this facility is how well staff takes care of patients in need. If there is any issues or concerns from families they address it immediately. I couldn't ask for a better experience at Gordon Lane Care Center.

Cynthia is also another person that I love to talk to. The nurses here at Gordon Lane are always nice to me. I like that I can go to the patio from my room. My overall time here has been great !

My mom has asked not to wear someone else’s socks and been ignored. Bed controls are not within reach. Water is not where she is able to reach...have asked to get her you bedside commode for training for home—after three days still not started. They do not use her walker to get up, they pull her to a stand...mom has bilateral rotator cuff tears. This is not healthy transition to home.

This place is so unprofessional my husband grandma was at this facility for a couple of days. Wen I went to visit her the room was scorching hot no A.C my husbands grandma was sweating. I asked two nurses thier if they came turn on the A.C with an attitude they responded back to me stating it was broken. The nurse name was sharel something like that. My husbands grandma clothes were all on the floor and wen I asked for a bag to put her clothes in the bag thier excuse was that my husbands grandma didn't want her clothes washed!!! Okay!! At least put the clothes in the bag!!!! So I put the clothes in the bag. Then I asked what time breakfast was served. They said it would be served at 7:30 wen everybody else was already eating.???? Then to top it off thier was two nurses chit-chatin away standing thier doing a whole lote of nothen. And talking in thier language. How rude!!!! I look at the picture on this site and its not even that close to looking like the picture. I asked for coffee for my husbands grandma and they just looked at me like. WHAT DO YOU WANT??? The beds wires are all chipped just ready to get electricuted. Thier not enough plugs for the fan or the furbulator to be used. Just disorganized. Really uncaring nurses the elderly just looked at me like plea see get me out of here. And thier were nurses taken a break out on the lobby lookinget at me like what are you doing her so early. And the cleaners were moping the trash along with with a wet mob in sanitary. WoW!!!! Every thing thier is so not updated

I have been a nurse for over 25 years. Went to see a friend who is a resident here post stroke (she is fairly young for this facility at 59 and is completely coherent). Worst place I've seen in many years. My friend had been lying in wet (urine) bed for over 2 hours. They don't come for hours when client hits call light, causing residents to urinate and defecate on themselves. She had same socks(same exact pair) since admission 12 DAYS ago! Today was her first bath in 12 days! I am reporting this facility to the ombudsman tomorrow morning. Do NOT send your family here. There's a reason this place has ONE star...and that's generous. These are only a FEW of the MANY examples I witnessed when visiting today. I will be back daily to ensure my friend's proper care until she can transfer out of this hell hole.
