A dear friend has been staying there for some time and she is like family to me. She is treated as family by the whole good life team. The staff is caring and sweet and take care of her like they were her own family. I couldn’t ask for better treatment and I don’t have to worry if she is getting treated properly. Thank you Good Life!
As I am reading reviews for the Heath location, I would say I am in all. I moved my mother in when Holli Steinecke was the Manager and RN and we did not care for her at all! She is very fake and made promise she never would keep. She is not who she says she is. My family and I was going to move our mother until we had found that she was no longer there and that the Assistant Manager Mindi Jayroe would now be the new Manager. We love Mindi and all she does for our Mother and all of the Residents of GoodLife. She is not a lier nor a theif by any means. She has made Goodlife what it is and we are so thankful for her. I believe Holli is doing nothing but spreading lies about Mindi and Goodlife out of spite and to make her look bad due to her taking her position at Goodlife. Believe me when I say Holli was the problem and I would not be there today if it was not for Mindi. I think it’s awful how people lie about someone and try to make them look bad to make themselves feel better! God knows better. Well, On a positive note, My mother is a resident at the Heath location and I am very pleased with everything about this place. The staff and caregivers are so amazing with the Residents and family members. I would recommend this place to all of your loved ones. You will get the best care, they have amazing food, there new location is absolutely beautiful and it is just as if you was at home . I visit mother everyday and not a day goes by that I’m not thankful for Goodlife.
BAD MANAGEMENT AND POOR CARE THEE WORST PLACE TO WORK. I FEEL SO SORRY FOR THE RESIDENTS. SOME OF THE STAFF ARE AWESOME AND DO THE BEST WITH WHAT THEY HAVE. MANAGEMENT JUST WALKS AROUND THINKING THEY ARE TOO CUTE AND WANT THE PLACE TO APPEAR NICE. I WOULDN'T PUT A DOG IN THIS PLACE. .
I have nothing negative to say about the company. It’s a great place to work. However I would not recommend anyone apply to work at the Fort Worth office on Morphy until the current manager Candace is replaced. By her own words she has terminated over 200 people. She has no healthcare experience and doesn’t know how to manage staff. In my my opinion she does not value her employees at all and discards them like garbage standing behind Texas being at at-will state as to why she can fire so many people. Don’t believe me? Get hired and ask everyone how long they have been there. Work for any Goodlife but this one until she is replaced.
My dear friend has been living the good life at The Good Life for 3 months. I'm no stranger to nursing care and assisted living and I have high standards. The Good Life is an extremely caring place. It's small and that is an advantage. The staff is caring, the manager is energetic, loving and enthusiastic. My friend wasn't happy about having to move to a more restrictive environment, but now she is settled in and happy every time I see her. She loves the staff and, especially the manager and assistant manager. She feels that they are responsive to her needs - and, I agree. Plus, we can bring her dog to see her, which helps her so much. The facility isn't fancy or luxurious, but it's homey and clean and feels more like a real home than any of the other assisted living facilities that I've visited. I highly recommend that anyone that is searching for a facility for their loved one should check out the Good Life.
My Mom is truly living the "good life". The staff are very caring and although my Mom is unable to speak due to a stroke they have mastered the ability to communicate and understand her wishes. My Mom is very happy and I am totally confident it is the care and attention she receives by the staff. Having had her in another home and having visited other places before selecting Good Life I think my family and I made the very best decision.
Management is very unprofessional.I called the administrator to inform her that a resident had fallen and all she cared about was photos.Instead of how the resident was doing and then they are very fake and two faced, and wonder why caregivers are leaving left and right well duh figure it out
The new Heath location is absolutely beautiful and the caregivers are amazing! Holly the RN that was there in the beginning knew exactly what she was doing and was wonderful with her residents. This place has SO much potential to be great but with the new manager MINDI JAYROE that is not going happen. She is a THIEF AND A LIAR. She has no clue what she is doing, doesn’t even have a certification to her name. She has stole hard worked money from employees and even residents. It’s the holiday time and she has the audacity to steal $600+ from an employee. There’s cameras all over this places but they do not work which is why she keeps getting away with this. OWNERS DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. Pick someone educated and PROFESSIONAL to run this facility. Not some woman that shows up and looks pretty behind a desk and does nothing but LIE AND STEAL. Mindi Jayroe should suffer her consequences. UNACCEPTABLE.
DON'T DON'T DON'T Send your loved ones to this company!!! I'm a former employee & if you value your love ones golden years I would recommend another facility!!! Example one resident didn't receive a bath for a whole week at the DUNCANVILLE LOCATION!! Take my word ask residents instead of the intakers & Supervisors about staying there you will be shocked!! The supervisor Tiffany bullies hard working mother's that are employees out of their hours as a form of punishment & retaliation so imagine what your loved ones could possibly go through.
I have worked at other facilities before but none like Good life.I have been working here at the fort worth facility 2 yrs now and I love every moment of it from our residents to our staff and Managers we are one big happy family here at Good life , we have daily activities, fresh home cook meals everyday, clean and fresh smelling building with its home like settings, friendly and caring staff and management team that works together in making sure all our residents are well taken care of , The Manager Miss Branigan goes above and beyond to make sure our residents and staff are happy, Not everyone can be a Caregiver you of to be patience, kind, caring and joyful and those are what we at Good life overflow in I would not want to work anywhere else . With that said we welcome your love ones to become apart of our family they will be well taken care of.
