Uncaring. Neglect of residences. Dirty. Understaffed. Will bring tears to your eyes. Who cares for are elderly? Its a disgrace. Sanford better take a deep look and do something. I can't believe in this country that we can't do better for our elderly population...this is a disgrace

Would not let our daughter say goodbye to her grandpa, and harassed me as I said my goodbyes for not wearing a mask. Even though I have a medical condition and the Ada does not permit them to do this. They are terrible people and have no compassion. Should rename bad samaritan society.

I use to work at Good Samaritan years ago. I loved coming to work because of the resident, I felt that God brought me there for a purpose. I took my time taking care of the residents getting to know them and their family. Even on my days of I would bring my kids to read to them. Some of the management to me was excellent. Meredith was a terrific nurse, she took her time with the residents. But most of the other nurse was horrible. One lady use to get mad because I took my time with the residents, some of the people I worked with sat in the room and let me do all the work then talk behind my back. I got criticized because I cared for the residents. I watched some employees aid treat the residents it mad me angry. When I left I told someone but I don’t know if they Did something. I put my all into my job but some of the nurses and a lady with short hair made me hate my job. I got along with all my residents and their family. I treated them as if they were my flesh and blood. Good Samaritan would be a great place to work if they have more people like Meredith and Michelle and 2 of my coworkers. I for got the other’s name. God be with all the residents. If I go on people may not want there love once to stay. As for me I will never recommend anyone to live there, if the same people I worked with is there.

They have many employees that just dont care. Want residents to just sit in their chairs all day. Nothing gets done unless you pursue it.

Great place to work and for loved ones. I have seen the love and attention employees give to their residents. The company offers benefits - medical, vision, dental at 60 days and PTO day one for full-time employees (30 hours or more). The benefits are better than where I worked previously. Also they offer call-in pay to employees that pick-up shifts. In the six months I have been there, I have loved the Christian atmosphere and how the employees care for each other.

My grandparents lived in the twinhomes and my grandmother had the pleasure of rehabbing in their rehab therapy program at the rehab skilled center. They made many friends and enjoyed the daily coffee time, in addition to the caring staff. I also worked at this center for a few years and truly enjoyed the opportunity to carry out God's love in each relationship I had with residents and co-workers.

I agree with the previous reviews. Put your loved ones elsewhere and get rid of this unsafe organization. Talk has it that they may merge with Sanford. If that is the case, Sanford will go down right with them. Will do everything to make Sanford and other affiliations aware of Good Samaritan ways of doing things. The higher ups are a huge problem, and there have been many complaints, from employees, right down to the residents. Nothing has been done for years and falls on deaf ears. Go to your local city and State officials, about your concerns. You won't get anywhere with persons here. If you care about health and safety of your loved ones, start action now.
