Discover Givens Gerber Park: A Unique Senior Living Community
Thank you for your interest in Givens Gerber Park, a rental retirement community for seniors located in convenient South Asheville. Our community is dedicated to empowering seniors to live independently as long as possible. We do this by implementing a “housing with supportive services” model. This model differs from a traditional independent living community in that we have a community nurse and social workers to support residents through various life events, a café, and an onsite clinic. The campus also includes a wide variety of additional amenities shared by all residents.
Givens Gerber Park is also different because of the variety of incomes we accept. Our first two buildings (Buildings 40 and 50) are for residents who are at or below 60% of area median income in Buncombe County ($35,700 for one applicant and $40,800 for two applicants) and our last building (Building 60) is for seniors who are above 60% area median income who may not have enough resources to afford a traditional continuum of care retirement community. We are currently accepting applications for all buildings at Givens Gerber Park. Buildings 40, 50 and 60 are open and fully occupied. We encourage everyone to apply to get onto the waitlist.
