Overview of Staff and Training
We are staffed 24/7 with RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, all of whom have completed the requisite training. Our in-house training program includes yearly re-certification on several different aspects, such as Infection Control, Resident Rights, and Dementia Care.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Our facility includes a secured Memory Support unit for wandering dementia patients, a wanderguard system throughout the building, and video cameras to investigate any issues that might arise.
Transition Support Services
We have a Nurse Navigator who follows all discharges to the community for 90 days, ensuring medications are in place, doctor appointments are made, and medical records are given to the appropriate community physicians.
Transportation Services
We do not have our own transportation services.
Dining Experience
As a kosher-style facility, we offer a meat-based lunch and pasta or fish dinners. An always available menu includes items like burgers, chicken, and various sandwiches.
Resident Complaints and Issues
Complaints or issues are addressed by our Social Services department, which works with other department heads to resolve them.
Cost of Living
The current price is $445/day for a semi-private room and $470/day for a private room, including TV, laundry services, incontinence care, and supplies.
Communication with Residents' Families
For sub-acute patients, weekly meetings with family review progress and discharge plans. For long-term residents, quarterly meetings are held. Urgent news is emailed to families by our Administrator as needed.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays at the same daily rates, with a minimum of 5 days per stay.
Pet-Friendly Community
Well-behaved dogs are allowed to visit, provided we have a copy of their vaccination record.
COVID and Flu Vaccinations
We provide and encourage COVID and flu vaccinations for residents.
Aging in Place
Residents can age in place as long as their needs can be met. We are Medicaid certified in all 200 beds, ensuring no change in care once the Medicaid application is completed.
