Staff Training and Certification
All of our staff is dementia certified. This includes home health aides, dietary staff, housekeepers, and anyone else working in the building. We use Relias as our training program, which is considered the Gold Standard for the industry.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We have various communication methods with our residents. For IL/AL residents, we conduct 5-day, 30-day, and 90-day surveys to ensure a smooth transition and appropriate care. Care Plans are in place for AL residents with daily interactions. Our facility is staffed 24/7 for any issues that may arise. Monthly Resident Council meetings are held to address concerns and updates. An open-door policy allows residents to reach out at any time. In MC, we use staff expertise and technology like door sensors, motion sensors in bathrooms, and fall cameras to ensure resident safety.
Transition Support Services
As a private pay facility, we offer a Welcome Home program where resident volunteers sponsor new residents and introduce them to activities. A move-in coordinator assists with community orientation.
Transportation Services
We provide a shuttle bus for scheduled outings such as shopping, dining, and community events. It is not for medical appointments, but our concierge can assist with arranging transportation if needed.
Dining Experience
Residents can add meals in IL and choose from an ala carte menu with a variety of selections.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents can fill out a grievance form at the front desk or use an anonymous box. We respond promptly to issues. Monthly resident council meetings provide a direct forum for concerns. For immediate attention, residents can speak to us directly as we are readily available.
Short-term and Respite Stays
We offer short-term stays at $350 for AL and $400 for MC in most communities.
Pet-Friendly Community
YES, we are a pet-friendly environment with a one-time fee of $500 deposit.
Waitlist Information
We have a few openings in IL, but AL and MC have a waitlist. Wait times vary from weeks to years, with larger and River View Apartments typically having longer waits.
Vaccination Availability
YES, we provide designated dates for residents to receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.
Aging in Place
YES, residents can age in place, with the exception of our secured Memory Care community.
