Read this that was in 2018 https://seniorjustice.com/nursing-home-fall-lawsuit-filed-vs-cypress-care-center/ To Whom it concerns, I went to Cypress Care Center 9/10/2023 got there at 1:15 pm When saw my mom she was just finishing lunch what I saw next convinced me that it is not a safe clean environment looked terrible The wound looked like the dressing had not been changed in days if not for a week I know about fresh dressings look like cause I took care of her after she had skin cancer removed back in march and I took care of her every day,she also had a new cut on her hand about 3 days old. Also safe ya right they did not even remind me to sign in just let me go see her I already know the code to get to her they all where laughing and talking BS.the bathroom looked awful even the one by front desk there was urine on toilet seat and on the floor. Well she said she did not feel good and was going to take a nap. I asked her what she did all day she said she watched TV first,that seems impossible because she had stop watching TV months ago not matter what I tried she would not. Then she said she plays games with the other People she had never been for a walk around the Place where we live for months her walking with out a cane she would be wavering. She complained her feet where swelling got her some compression socks that seem to help for awhile. Both times she fell she was not using her cane. Tried to help but she pushed me off and would fall. I have since got her a walker after I was told by the Adult Protective Investigator when he came to visit me. Because I had P.O.A he said Case Closed so I called Cypress care Center and spoke with Social Worker there she told me I could bring her home Tue 09/05/2023 at 11:00am.As I was getting ready to leave I called and was asked if I had investigator number so I gave it to her first 2 time I missed the right number finally She got it called me back about 10 minutes later said I could not take her home she would call the police because Investigator said the only reason he closed because she was in clean safe environment. Ya right not the way I had seen it. Talk about abuse they should go to jail not me,trying to get my Mother back home so as I can care for her like I had been since 2020.They also told me she had blood clot in left leg that was the the wound that had not been changed for days.Got photos as well.Read their reviews on google. especially one star ones its like a horror house.I have Hired lawyers for this gets so damning to a Industry to make money off the sick and not so sick on Medicare. 09/10/2023 I visited my mother today she was waiting for her coffee which would not be there till 9:30 it was 8:03 I was told later that she dose not want me to visit Her wound had been changed yet they could not cover up the Wound on her hand.
