Overview of Staff and Training
Pt care is our number one priority, with training done monthly from RN down to CNA.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Each resident is different, so safety measures would depend, but we have several different implements in place based on residents' needs.
Transition Support Services
Our social worker would assist in getting residents set back up to go back into the community, whether it is Home Health or equipment to placement.
Transportation Services
We do offer transportation, but only to doctors' appointments or group outings, not for shopping or other personal errands.
Dining Experience
The dining room is optional for our residents who would like to eat outside of their rooms. We do have feeders that sit at a table with aids to help assist in feeding.
Resident Complaints and Issues
It would depend on the resident's complaint on who would address the situation. Most of our residents have bonds with certain staff members, and once brought to that person's attention, it is directed to the proper person to resolve.
Cost of Living
Price for a Private room is $295 and semi-private is $175 daily.
Communication with Resident's Families
Any change in a resident's status or anything that needs to be confirmed by the responsible party is always addressed promptly. This includes new med changes, sending residents out for evaluations, etc.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do offer short-term respite stays. If a resident is on hospice, they would cover 5 days at no cost to the family. If a patient isn't on hospice, the price listed above would be the same for a respite stay.
Pet-Friendly Community
We are pet-friendly; the family would need to provide shot records of the pet prior to the pet being allowed in the building. However, the pet cannot stay here; it is visitation only. Yes, we currently have a waiting list for MCD/MCDP beds.
