    Courtland Rehabilitation & Living Center is a multi-level facility located in Ellsworth, Maine at the crossroads of Downeast Maine. Our 74-bed facility contains three unique, specialized units: a 28-bed Skilled Rehab/Nursing unit, a 26-bed Long Term Care unit, and a 20-bed Residential Care unit. Each unit is supported by primary nursing staff to support the patient/resident needs and provide necessary services.

    Our Skilled Rehab/Nursing unit specializes in care for patients recently discharged from an acute hospital setting. We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy 6 days per week. Our therapists are highly trained to optimize independence…focusing on individualized discharge plans, patient goals, and home/lifestyle assessments. Our Skilled Nurses specialize in IV therapy, wound care, medication management, and patient/family education. Courtland’s Skilled Rehab professional team works closely with Physicians and Specialists from area hospitals. Courtland Rehabilitation & Living Center continues to be the most patient-requested rehab facility in Downeast Maine.
