This is a good place to have the loved ones cared for, however there is a boatload of confusion, it may seem as to how to allow people to come, and go to conduct visits, and or business as I have seen many times people standing for as long as ten minutes, outside, trying to gain entrance. This would seem to be quite an easy fix, yet there they stand,..still. these people are important, just as you or I. There are people inside that need their visits, there are jobs that need to be done in caring for the individuals that reside within, and they all wait expectedly, yearning to be in out of the weather to be there for the reason that they have made the trip.

They had some negative reviews and this worried us when my wife had to go there for rehabilitation. They must have new management or ownership. My wife received outstanding care. The physical therapist was better than my wife had in the hospital. The food was very good and the staff were responsive and very supportive. It is a shame the negative reviews aren't deleted. We highly recommend the Corvallis Manor.

I normally do not write ratings, but my experience with Corvallis manor has not been positive in any way.  I have been trying for over 3 weeks now, to contact a patient there whom is in hospice and is failing rapidly. I first tried to visit over a month ago, and because of corvid, She could only be brought outside, which is understandable, which she  was not strong enough to do.  i called the administrator to ask  for a compassionate visit to her room, which  I am entitled to.  I was told that she would get  back  to me. She never has. It has been over 2 weeks. I have called her twice more, leaving messages and call back numbers, to no avail. My friend is dying. I called again today, for the  4th time and was kindly told by the director of nursing services that i can visit my friend anytime i want. The administrator, Mary has never returned my calls.  I highly suggest that you don't put  your loved one in this institution. Laura

I went to Corvallis Manor from Good Samaritan Hospital on February 14, 2020 after having double knee replacement surgery. For 6 days I had to endure hostility, incompetence, inedible food, long wait times for pain meds or assistance, as well as having to show some nurses how to put the ice packs on my knees or assist me to get off the bed to use the walker. One time I even called 9-1-1 to get them to call the facility because I couldn't get anyone to answer the call button for an hour and a half in the early morning hours, and I didn't know the phone number. Some LPNs who were new to their job really cared and were sweet and compassionate, but the others were cold and insensitive. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and as soon as I could get myself in or out of bed, I went home. Fortunately, I had frozen several soups and filled my fridge with nuts, and fresh fruits and vegetables which my friend brought me on a daily basis. If you have a choice, don't go to Corvallis Manor to heal from surgery. It is a depressing environment.

If I could give NEGATIVE 100 stars I would. Took my mom here and had the WORST experience in my entire life. I would go daily to check up on her and she was always uncomfortable and not taken care of. The food was from what looked like dollar tree and was not what she should have been eating to regain her strength. The workers there were all rude and gruff and were very annoyed if I ever asked them to get my mom something. She had to share a bathroom with 4 other sick elders. The whole place is OLD and very run down. I had a traumatizing experience here and so did my family. She did not get better being here she got worse. Which was no doubt the reason for her death soon after we got her out of this place.

If you are looking for a place to go rehabilitate yourself  or a loved one. PLEASE  DO NOT TAKE THEM TO CORVALLIS MANOR. I had a double hip replacement and was taken there to get well. What an awful place to go. It smelled like death when I was brought in from PEACE HEALTH.When I was in my room, there were 2 people looking at my wounds. (keep in mind I had to go thru test to make sure I had no mersa bacteria on me.) As they are looking at my wound some young kid comes in and starts sweeping about 10feet away. I had to stop him and then ask why they didn't. They just looked at me like I was dumb. Then the night nurse comes down to my room and tells me that if I use the nurse call button it could be 5 to 90 minutes before I got any help. Then the same nurse almost doubled my pain meds. I had to ask for ice packs for my hips. I had to ask for my meds. Needless to say i got my primary dr to get me out of there. I feel awful for the people in there that can't talk and speak up for them self. This was just 2 days of being in that hell hole,

$3,000 was stolen from one of the residents at Corvallis Manor by an employee. Food is cold and unpalatable. Medications not giving properly that sent one resident to the hospital. Call lights not answered. Not enough staff to take care of residents but management threatens staff to not say that. Many of the positive reviews written by management to boost the ratings.

The Corvallis Manor is Wonderful. My sister has been living there for a few years now. The treat her so well. Alice in activities always keeps her busy doing all kinds of creative activities, setting us with video calls and helping us keep in contact with our big sister through the whole pandemic. God bless Alice and all of the Corvallis Manor staff.

My name is Gail standfill. I would like to thank the manor staff for saving my husband's life today. I spoke with the doctor and I told him, if it wasn't for you're quick action and great care this could have been fatal for my husband. I was there the 28th of this month and had a great meeting with the staff. I was very impressed with there knowledge. I myself was once a hospice nurse. I can't begin to say how clean and spiffy the place looks. I'm only giving 5 stars because I can't give 10. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication :) I want to thank Naomi especially. She is a very caring nurse and we thank her so much for her hard work. ❤

My mom was there for the longest time. She was well cared for. The support and compassion of the staff was above standards. She was always super happy to see all the cheerful faces of all the helpful staff. The care meetings where super helpful to get a quick overview of her care and I always got a weekly update if I emailed. The communication here is great. Thank You so much, I will send others your way!

This establishment is absolutely terrible. My father was put here for rehab after suffering a stroke. The staff did not give updates as to his progress, and would not return phone calls for several days or more when we would call to make inquiries. In the almost 9 weeks my father has been there he has not received a covid shot which we were told he would get. While my father has been there the staff was notified days in advance of a medical appointment and without explanation they did not take him to his appointment. My biggest complaint is that they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to discharge planning. My father is being moved to an assisted living facility tomorrow and requires a hospital bed and wheelchair, both require a prescription and the Manor has had more than a week's notice of this and has failed in acquiring either. We received an email tonight that the Manor intends to drop my father off at his assisted living facility tomorrow without a wheelchair or hospital bed. That's right, they plan on dropping someone who cant walk off at a new residence with no wheelchair and no bed. The assisted living facility has been trying to coordinate with the discharge planner at the Manor and she has been dodging their calls. Do not trust this facility with your loved ones. I am so appalled by this place that I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint as well as writing my representatives to inform them of the low quality of care being provided by a facility that receives federal funds.
